Ever since Apple debuted the iPhone-exclusive Apple Card in 2019, it's been one of the company's most fascinating products. In the time since its release, Apple has added numerous stores/retailers where Apple Card users can get 3 percent cashback on their purchases.

There are a few things about the Apple Card that stand out from traditional credit cards. Apple shows applicants their credit line and APR before finalizing the application, it's integrated directly into the Apple Wallet app, and it encourages users to pay off their balance every month as not to pay interest. Also unique to the Apple Card is how it pays cashback rewards. With most credit cards, cashback/points are paid once per month at the end of each billing cycle. With Apple Card's 'Daily Cash' feature, new cashback is made available every single day.

Similar to other credit cards, there are different tiers of Daily Cash depending on what is being purchased. If someone uses their physical Apple Card at a store or enters their card details to pay for something online, Apple says it earns just 1 percent. If Apple Card is used with Apple Pay — either at a store or online — Daily Cash increased to 2 percent.

Every Store Where Apple Card Gets 3 Percent Daily Cash

Where Daily Cash earnings get a bit more interesting is with special merchants/retailers. If someone uses their Apple Card with Apple Pay at a store Apple has partnered with, that 2 percent Daily Cash is increased to 3 percent. As of July 2021, those stores include all of the following: Duane Reade, Exxon, Mobil, Nike, Panera Bread, T-Mobile (in-stores only), Uber, Uber Eats, and Walgreens.

In addition to all of the above stores, 3 percent Daily Cash also applies to any Apple-related purchases. Any time someone uses their Apple Card at an Apple Store, on the Apple website, for an Apple service like Apple Music, or any purchase via the App Store (such as a paid game or in-app purchase), they get 3 percent back in Daily Cash.

Although these rates aren't the most competitive compared to some other credit cards,  they also aren't terrible for one with no annual fee. There is the stipulation that someone needs to use Apple Pay with the Apple Card to get the 2 and 3 percent earnings, but if that isn't a problem, these are fairly solid rates for a card like this.
