Screen Rant has an exclusive clip from the new movie Apex starring Bruce Willis and Neal McDonough. The action film is an updated take on "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell, a short story about a man who finds himself on a remote island where he is hunted by a rich aristocrat for sport. Connell's story has inspired a number of movies and TV shows throughout the years, most recently on Quibi with star Liam HemsworthApex is available in theaters, digital, and On Demand. on November 12.

Willis stars in Apex as Thoma Malone, an ex-cop serving a life sentence for a crime he didn't commit. Malone is offered a chance for freedom if he can survive the Apex -  a deadly game where six hunters pay to hunt another human on a remote island. The men think they are in for an easy game but are unprepared to face Malone, who will do whatever it takes to survive.

Watch an exclusive clip from Apex below. The violent clip features Willis taking on one of the hunters. If the hunters thought they were in for an easy game, they were clearly mistaken as Willis proves just how dangerous he can be. The video hints at what's to come in the action film, showing the ruthlessness of Willis' character as he fights to survive. See it here:

Apex is written by Corey Large, who also stars in the film, and Edward Drake, who also directs the film. This project reunites Willis, Drake, and Large who previously worked together on the movies Cosmic Sin and Breach. Neal McDonough (Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City) stars as one of the hunters pursuing Willis alongside Alexia Fast (Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency), Nels Lennarson (Supernatural), Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale), Megan Peta Hill (Riverdale), and Trevor Gretzky (Spiral: From the Book of Saw).
