In Apex Legends, Wraith is one of, if not the best Legends in the game. She has a few skills both passive and active that make her a huge threat to win each time she's on the field. Her invisibility and portal making ability can be used in a few tricky ways to get the upper hand on any team. She tends to work well in combination with farther-reaching characters and defensive ones and she can be a bit more offensively minded.

Wraith is a very close range player as she can quickly surprise teams and get in close so it's a great idea to play her with close-range weapons like the Mastiff and the Peacekeeper. Another weapon option for the closer quarters is the R-99 or Prowler to burst down opponents quickly. With these weapon options, let's go into her skills and show how she can become lethal in any combat situation.

Understanding Wraith's Abilities in Apex Legends

Apex Legends Wraith

Wraith's portals are a key feature of her build but her passive abilities need to be talked about first and foremost. She has a smaller hitbox than most because of how small she is versus others. It unfortunately also means when she does get hit, she takes a bit more damage. This means getting the jump on anyone first will give a slight edge in a gunfight. She also has the ability called Voices from the Void that gives off a warning when anyone even sees her giving additional tactical opportunities. Her ability called Into the Void gives her invisibility and renders her invulnerable but at a cost. She will leave a trail behind her and can easily be picked up by enemies at the tail end of it so it's best to use it when the going gets rough. Her Dimensional Rift is a handy tool to get from one place to the other quickly for her and the rest of the team, especially when the circle starts closing.

Advanced Wraith Tactics in Apex Legends

A great tactic for Wraith is if she gets a warning with her passive, using her Dimensional Rift, lure opponents into the rift and surprise them at the other end when they decide to follow. Enemies can go through the rift as well, which lasts for 60 seconds, so lying in wait or having someone ready at the other end for an ambush can net a lot of kills. Another sneaky tactic is using her Into the Void ability to go into the ring and show up on the other side of a team and melt them. The enemy might think Wraith will come at them one way and surprise them on the other. She won't take any damage going into the ring making it a fantastic surprise attack or even escape. Another idea is as the ring is closing, start a portal, and loop it to an area where the endpoint is going to a section of the map where the ring is going to close and trap people in the new area. This is maddening and when players think they're going to be safe, they end up in the ring instead.
