Apex Legends: Season 7 has been out for a while now, and with the new holiday event out, it's a great time to visit which weapons will mean success this season. From energy weapons to LMGs, there are a variety of guns to choose from in Apex Legends. There will always be person favorites for every player, but it would be wise to get used to the guns listed here as they are the ones the pros will gravitate to when given a chance.

The current seasonal event in Apex Legends, called Winter Express, is a very challenging event where three teams of three battle for control of the train that goes through World's Edge. The train is on the move, providing twists and turns except when it hits the middle part of the track in a "Derailment" location. There will be plenty of flanking opportunities, quick-paced play, and players get dropped into the zone as well. It's a new take on the same event from last year to speed things up and going in, knowing the weapons will be handy. Knowing which weapons are the best is only half that batting because learning how to use them is the finisher.

Which Guns Are The Best In Apex Legends: Season 7

Apex Legends Bangalore with R-30

For this Season 7 list, we're going to avoid talking about guns that players can only get through loot drops like the Kraber or the Peacekeeper. This list will solely focus on weapons that players can readily pick up as it will have more benefits to newer players and vets alike. This list is also in no particular order unless specified so because different players might prefer other weapons. Still, like this list below, some can't be ignored when it comes to various factors.

  • R-99: This gun is the powerhouse of the SMGs because of its fast RPM and handling. Pros will gravitate towards this gun rather than any others as players can go down without even realizing they're getting shot in the first place. From close range, this weapon can be devastating almost, if not more, than what shotguns can dish out damage-wise.
  • R-301: The preciseness of the R-301 is still very impressive, along with its incredible stability. Pairing the R-301 with a Volt makes for a deadly combo that will make it that most teams don't walk away. It might not pack the heavier ammo weapons punch, but landing shots with this stable weapon make life easy.
  • Mastiff: The sheer power of the Mastiff keeps pros coming back for more. Getting an R-301 and Mastiff combo is brutality incarnate because if the R-301 is missing a couple of shots, the Mastiff will clean up the rest. It's a bit of a slower firing weapon against the other shotguns, but leading hits will make this shotgun a clear winner.
  • Volt: The non-existent bullet drop and no need for a wind up are what makes the Volt a terror. In the right hands, at close range, with its ability to cause immense damage, it's no wonder it's a favorite.
  • Hemlock: The Hemlock is a sneaky weapon where switching between its single shot and burst fire modes creates different weapons with each. The bullet drop can be significant, but if it's managed, on boy can this gun pack a wallop. It took a little dive on its headshot multiplier, but landing shots will more than make up for it.
  • Wingman: It's a favorite from season to season and still works wonders for the right player. It depends on how accurate a player can be, but adding the Skullpiercer always makes it a deadly weapon.
  • Longbow: If accuracy with the Wingman isn't working so well, the Longbow can be a good substitute. It can get substantial damage and has a quickfire speed, which is useful in longer engagements. It will still be the weapon of choice for snipers if they can't pick up a Kraber, of course.
