After originally being set for a theatrical release in April 2020, the film was delayed a couple of times due to the global pandemic before it was finally released to theaters on October 29. Produced by Guillermo del Toro, Antlers offers a chilling take on an ancient lore.
Set in Oregon, Antlers follows Julia Meadows and her brother Paul, who become involved in a mystery surrounding Lucas, one of Julia’s students. Their need for answers regarding his home life ultimately leads them to uncover something far more sinister than expected, a creature that has been disturbed and is out for blood.

Keri Russell as Julia Meadows
Julia is a middle school teacher who moved back to Oregon after years living in Los Angeles. Julia moves in with her brother and is the first to suspect something isn’t right with one of her students and his home life. Keri Russell is a critically acclaimed actress who has been in a number of well-known projects, including the TV series The Americans and Felicity. Russell has also starred in Mission: Impossible III, Waitress, Austenland, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Jesse Plemons as Paul Meadows
Paul is Julia’s brother and the sheriff in town. His relationship with Julia is slightly strained due to the siblings’ history with their father, though they care about each other deeply. Jesse Plemons is everywhere, appearing in films such as Jungle Cruise, Judas and the Black Messiah, and The Power of the Dog, The Irishman, Game Night, and I’m Thinking of Ending Things. Plemons rose to prominence playing Landry Clark in Friday Night Lights, Todd in Breaking Bad, and later starred in the series Fargo. The actor also appeared in the “USS Callister” episode of Black Mirror.
Jeremy T. Thomas as Lucas Weaver
Lucas is Julia’s student, with whom he builds a rapport over the course of Antlers. But Lucas is hiding a deadly secret. Jeremy T. Thomas is building quite the filmography. While Antlers is Thomas’ first major role in a film, the young actor has had guest starring spots in The Righteous Gemstones and Paradise Lost.

Graham Greene as Warren Stokes - Warren is a local who aids Julia and Paul in their research about the creature plaguing the town. Graham Greene has a storied career, appearing in Wind River, The Green Mile, Dances with Wolves, Maverick, and Molly’s Game. Stokes has also been in several TV series, including Riverdale, Longmire, Defiance, American Gods, and Goliath.
Amy Madigan as Ellen Booth - Ellen is the principal at the school where Julia teaches. Amy Madigan has been in a plethora of movies and TV shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, Grace and Frankie, How to Get Away with Murder, Gone Baby Gone, and Field of Dreams.
Scott Haze as Frank Weaver - Frank is Lucas’ father and whom Lucas tries to protect. Scott Haze has starred in Child of God, Venom, 12 Mighty Orphans, and Minari. He will also have a role in the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion.
Sawyer Jones as Aiden Weaver - Aiden is Frank’s son and the younger brother of Lucas. Sawyer Jones has guest starred in episodes of Chicago Med, Stillwater, and Modern Family.
Rory Cochrane as Daniel Lecroy - Daniel Lecroy is a police officer who works with Paul. Rory Cochrane is known for roles in 24, CSI: Miami, Reprisal, and Encounter.
Andy Thompson as Father Meadows - He is Julia and Paul’s dad, seen only in flashbacks. Andy Thompson has appeared in Amazon’s Upload, A Million Little Things, Riverdale, Charmed, and The Flash.
Cody Davis as Clint - Clint is one of the school’s bullies and who is always picking on Lucas in Antlers. Cody Davis has guest starred in episodes of Legends of Tomorrow, Chicago Med, The Flash, and The Exorcist.
Katelyn Patterson as Julia - Katelyn Patterson plays the younger version of Julia in flashbacks. Patterson has appeared in the miniseries Unspeakable, Take Two, and Once Upon a Time.
