Luis is once again joining Scott's superhero shenanigans, and this time he wants his own suit, as seen in a brand new Ant-Man & The Wasp TV spot. Marvel Studios is looking to close out the year early with their third and final film of 2018 coming out this July. Following two films with loads of characters and a massive scope  - Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War the MCU is looking to change things up as they get smaller, literally and figuratively, with the forthcoming Peyton Reed-directed sequel.

While Ant-Man & The Wasp appears to be smaller in scale, focusing on a character-driven narrative, the film will supposedly have significant links to Infinity War. Said links are likely going to involve the Quantum Realm, which is made possible to explore via the Pym Particles - the same particles that allow the titular heroes to change in size. Specific plot details are still unclear, but the film is expected to follow up on Scott's involvement with the events of Captain America: Civil War, as well as concern the rescue of the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne, who has been trapped in the Quantum Realm for decades.

The new TV spot for the film posted on Marvel Entertainment's official YouTube channel offers new footage from the movie. Aside from an extended version of Scott's transformation into Giant Man - presumably at the San Francisco Bay, and complete with him threatening to eat the scared onlookers - fans also have a longer glimpse of the villain, Ghost. However, arguably the standout of the 46-second clip is Luis, who seems to be excited to join another of Scott's adventures. The Pyms are less than thrilled to see him, but with the predicament that they're in, they won't have any choice but to work with the chatty ex-con. Watch the video above.

Ant-Man and the Wasp international poster excerpt

Immediately after his debut in the first Ant-Man in 2015, Luis become a fan favorite. Marvel Studios is well aware of that, so it makes sense that the character be given moments to shine in promos for the film. While Ant-Man & The Wasp doesn't seem likely to give Luis a superhero suit of his own, it'll be interesting to see if that it's in the cards for some point in the future of the MCU, considering his audience appeal. Perhaps fans might even see him interact with characters outside the Ant-Man franchise. Luis bantering with Rocket and/or Peter Parker is definitely an exciting notion for fans to contemplate.

With just a little bit more than a month to go before Ant-Man & The Wasp hits theaters, Marvel Studios' marketing machine for the film is already starting to heat up. While there will no longer be any more full trailers, several TV spots like this latest one are expected to roll out in the next few weeks to keep people hyped up for the film. To further boost people's interest in the sequel, Disneyland's Tomorrowland Theater will also be hosting an exclusive early look at the forthcoming superhero flick.
