Warning: This post contains SPOILERS for Avengers: Infinity War.

A new Avengers: Infinity War parody clip reveals how Ant-Man could've defeated Thanos. Despite the impressive group effort from the Avengers, as well as their newfound allies, the Mad Titan fulfilled his goal of collecting all six Infinity Stones, which resulted in him recreating the iconic snap from the comics and, thereby, wiping out half of the MCU.

Currently in house arrest - a deal he struck with the government to be able to spend time with his family after being labeled as a fugitive on the heels of the events of Captain America: Civil War - Infinity War didn't feature Scott Lang (nor Clint Barton/Hawkeye). Whether Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff thought that they could've handled the upcoming threat themselves or perhaps they didn't think that Ant-Man would've been as helpful, they were wrong, which is clearly evident by a new fan-created video showcasing just how the shrinking hero could've been a game-changer in the Avengers' fight against Thanos.

A hilarious clip posted by Aldo Jones imagines how Ant-Man could've easily prevented Thanos from collecting the Space Stone, let alone the remaining four. Then again, the question remains if Scott could actually hold the magical gem; Star-Lord was able to do so for a bit because he was part-Celestial in Guardians of the Galaxy. Despite this argument, it doesn't make seeing Ant-Man suddenly pop out from the gauntlet and running away with the Stone any less funny. Check it out below:

While the clip is obviously a spoof, it would be interesting to see how Ant-Man would fare against Thanos given his special abilities. A lot of people are sleeping on Scott because his heroic ability seems so simple, and at times silly. His suit doesn't even have many weapons (unlike The Wasp), but real-world studies have suggested that Ant-Man could defeat Superman. The mere fact that he can explore the Quantum Realm almost gets him to the level of Doctor Strange, who can travel the multiverse.

It might look like it's Captain Marvel who'll save the day in Avengers 4, and that could be true, but Ant-Man and Hank Pym's tech might also play an integral part in the defeating Thanos. The Russo brothers have previously said that Ant-Man And The Wasp is, surprisingly, the most connected to the events of Infinity War and on-set photos from next year's Marvel ensemble flick revealed Scott on a mysterious mission with franchise heroes such as Tony Stark, Captain America, and the Hulk.

But before he joins the bigger fight, fans can reunite with Scott, Pym, and Hope van Dyne as they contain a brand new threat in Ghost in Ant-Man and The Wasp. It's currently unclear how the sequel will directly connect with the events of Avengers: Infinity War, given that it takes place prior to Thanos' onslaught, but it's supposed to deal with the saving of Janet aan Dyne from the Quantum Realm where she has been trapped for a while now.
