Jonathan Majors, who will play Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, teased his script notes for the upcoming Marvel movie. Slated for release in 2023, the third Ant-Man film is highly anticipated thanks to its mysterious title and Majors' character. So far, it's the only confirmed appearance of Kang beyond Majors' recent role in Disney+ series Loki. Although he didn't go by the name of Kang in the season finale of that show, it was made clear pretty quickly that Majors' character was a variant of the infamous Marvel villain.

So far, little is known about Ant-Man 3 beyond its title and cast. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer will be reprising their MCU roles in the film. Additionally, Kathryn Newton has been cast as Cassie Lang, Scott Lang's daughter, and she is heavily rumored to make her superhero debut as Stature. Finally, Majors will play the main antagonist of the film as Kang the Conqueror, a variant of his role in Loki who has made his way through the multiverse. The plot of the film is being kept under wraps, but it will likely explore the Quantum Realm that has been touched upon in the first two Ant-Man movies and in Avengers: Endgame. How this will all tie into the multiverse remains unclear.

Luckily, audiences may not be the only ones confused about what's in store for Ant-Man 3. Majors revealed to Indiewire that he is taking extensive script notes to keep track of all the developments in the film. The actor compares his notes to football plays before reflecting on the connections at play. Major likens them to "the astrology of spirits in space," although it's unclear what exactly he is referring to. Read his full quote below:

There’s script’s everywhere here... [The notes] may look like a football play sometimes, but it’s like the astrology of the spirits in the space. Everybody works in relation to someone else, always.

While Majors is only confirmed to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it may not be his only MCU appearance until 2023. Loki writer Michael Waldron said that Kang is the "next big cross-movie villain" of the MCU, indicating that Majors may cameo in a number of properties before his starring role in the 2023 film. From Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to the various streaming shows Marvel has on their slate, there's no telling where a dangerous Kang variant could pop up next.

Majors' also seems destined to battle it out against a new iteration of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, whether that be in a fifth Avengers movie or a Young Avengers team-up. Considering the complicated nature of the MCU, it's no surprise Majors has to keep extensive notes, especially seeing as his role seems to expand beyond one film and into the franchise as a whole. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania may be the first major taste of what Marvel's next Big Bad has in store for everyone's favorite heroes, but it will be just the beginning of his multiversal reign in the MCU.
