An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has shared a speedbuild video of their home transformation in which they turned their house into The Legend of Zelda's Hyrule Castle using some of the new ACNH items. Animal Crossing players have had a host of new content to aid them in their designs and constructions thanks to the November game updates, and ACNH builds have arguably never looked better.

Creative players have been using Animal Crossing: New Horizons' design features and tools to bring their builds to life since the title released in 2020, but the recent slew of new additions have helped users to better realize their in-game ideas. New items recently added to the game have included not just food thanks to the new cooking ability, but also castles, fairground items, wallpapers, flooring, and more. Those who've used the Nintendo game to recreate homes and areas from other video game titles are now able to do so with more realism, making recreations like Zelda's Lost Woods in Animal Crossing even easier to build.

Redditor Naydinfar-Crossing's speedbuild shows the player updating their Hyrule Castle using some of Animal Crossing's latest items, adding more Zelda flavor to their creation. The player uses Simple Panels and the new Castle Tower item to mimic the walls and towers of Princess Zelda's castle, sticking to grays as seen across the Zelda series. Custom pathways emulate the famous castle drawbridge, with statues, the Iron and Stone fencing, and custom-designed Hyrule panels completing the look. The speedbuild has been a success with Animal Crossing fans, amassing close to 20,000 upvotes at the time of writing.

The Redditor has built up a solid reputation on the Animal Crossing subreddit thanks to their many Zelda builds. As well as recreating Hyrule Castle, Naydinfar-Crossing has also previously built Breath of the Wild's raft in Animal Crossing, as well as the Lost Woods, a Korok Forest, and more. Thanks to the latest batch of ACNH content, it's possible even more Zelda-themed designs are on the way from the creator, and with so many Zelda games to be inspired by, there's no shortage of creative design builds motivated by the longstanding series.

Many Zelda fans are still hoping that Nintendo will add official LoZ items to Animal Crossing at some point in the future. Previous titles in the series have introduced Zelda-themed clothing items from games including Skyward Sword, which could mean they may come to New Horizons later in the game's lifecycle. Nintendo has previously released an official Super Mario item set for ACNH, and with a new Zelda game launching in 2022, it could be the perfect time for a similar tie-in promotion.
