A clever Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan has used the game's water glitch to recreate an iconic Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild location. Earlier this month, New Horizons players discovered a glitch that allowed them to walk through and sit in bodies of water. In typical fashion, these creative gamers immediately used the glitch in some adorable photo ops. This week, one player took the glitch a step further in a recreation of Breath of the Wild's Spring of Power.

The New Horizons water glitch involves placing a flat item, such as a puzzle, in the corner of a cliff. Players then use a ladder to climb the cliff and clip through the object, allowing them to walk into a nearby body of water. Naturally, many players have used the glitch to stand and sit in pools, making for more realistic island life photos. However, others have used the glitch to stand in rivers and on top of waterfalls. New Horizons players have loved the glitch and have tried to get all their ideas for it out before Nintendo inevitably releases a patch.

One New Horizons player used the glitch as the last step in their Breath of the Wild Spring of Power recreation. Reddit user Naydinfar-Crossing shared a stunning screenshot of their New Horizons character standing in the middle of a river while wearing a white off-the-shoulder gown and gloves. The player was surrounded by small islands covered with trees and white flowers. In the background, several small waterfalls could be seen; a photo edit made them appear to flow into the river. Finally, at the center of it all rested a Valiant Statue to represent the Spring of Power's goddess statue. "I’m a little late to the water glitch, but I did pray to the Goddess it never gets patched..." they said in the post.

Realistically, the player could have created the Spring of Power without actually being in the water, but that final element does feel like it ties the image together. It may be the closest thing that Breath of the Wild fans can get to seeing Link himself floating in the magical spring. "I feel like I finally got to do it justice by being in the water," the creator added.

It's safe to say that Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have found some seriously creative ways to use the pool glitch. The most common ways seem to involve water, but some players have also used the glitch to sit inside other objects that aren't normally interactive. Unfortunately, it does seem likely that Nintendo will get rid of the glitch any day now, despite the fun that players have had with it. Perhaps the glitch will inspire Nintendo to at least add the ability to sit in pools and tubs; that sounds like a simple enough request.
