Like many of the other holiday events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, during Bunny Day 2021, players can unlock exclusive, limited-time crafting recipes for special holiday-themed items. These recipes and items are only available during the week-long Bunny Day event from March 28 to April 4, so completionists and collectors alike will want to make sure they unlock them all. During Animal Crossing: New Horizon's 2021 Bunny Day event, there are three kinds of items for players to collect. The first are the 5 new Bunny Day 2021 furniture items, which are only available at Nook's Cranny, with a single item from the set available for purchase each day. The second are the 18 general furniture items in the Bunny Day set, which players will need to unlock and craft using Eggs. Finally, players can unlock 21 Bunny Day clothing items and accessories to craft using Eggs.
Apart from the five items only available at Nook's Cranny, there are several ways for players to unlock the Bunny Day furniture and clothing DIY recipes. However, it is also possible to get duplicates, so players will want to use every possible method if they want to collect all the recipes and items before the event ends on April 4. How to Unlock Bunny Day Recipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
As with most other holiday events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players can unlock most of the Bunny Day DIY furniture recipes by popping Egg-themed balloons floating over the island, finding Egg message bottles on the beach, or talking to their villagers. Drops for item recipes are usually random, and it is possible to receive duplicates.
When popping Egg balloons, players also have a chance to receive Sky Eggs instead. There is no limit to the number of Sky Eggs players can find per day. Last year, Animal Crossing fans became frustrated by how often Bunny Day Eggs spawned, often preventing them from collecting regular resources. It is possible players may experience the same trouble when trying to get DIY recipes this year. If players are finding that balloons are frequently dropping Eggs, they may have a better time searching for bottles for a while or speaking to their villagers. It may also help to enter and exit a building to reset the balloons.

All items in this set require a number of Eggs to craft. Players can hunt for hidden Bunny Day Eggs around their island from now until the end of the event on April 4.
In addition, there are a few recipes players can only find by talking to Zipper, the Bunny Day host. The first is the Bunny Day Bed, which players will receive from Zipper the first time they talk to him. On Bunny Day, April 4, Zipper will gift players the Bunny Day Arch DIY recipe. After crafting all the Bunny Day DIY furniture items, players can talk to Zipper again to receive the recipe for the Wobbling Zipper Toy. Finally, after players have crafted the Wobbling Zipper Toy, they can speak to Zipper one more time and receive the recipe for the Bunny Day Wand.
Getting the DIY recipes to craft the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bunny Day Egg clothing sets is a bit more random. Rather than receiving these DIYs from a character, bottle, or balloon, the player character comes up with the idea for each costume after they collect enough of each type of Egg. The exact number required varies. Some fans reported needing to pick up anywhere from 8 to 17 of a certain kind of Egg before the recipe unlocked.
Each Egg clothing set comes with three items:
- Egg Shell Hat
- Egg Outfit
- Egg Shoes
Each piece in the set requires 2 Eggs of a given type to craft. Players will unlock the DIY recipe for all three pieces in the set at the same time.
Once players unlock the Earth, Leaf, Sky, Stone, Water, and Wood Egg clothing sets, they will also automatically unlock the Egg Party set. There are two items in this set: Egg Party Hat and Egg Party Dress. The hat requires two of every kind of Egg to craft, and the dress requires three of every Egg.
