The video shared by Lulilaj shows the player character scampering around the event plaza outside Resident Services during the New Year's Eve event followed by a swarm of angry wasps. The town's villagers all watch on in horror as they tell the character to run and get the swam out of the party. However, as Lulilaj attempts to speak with Isabelle, the clock strikes midnight and she pulls the string on her celebratory confetti canon, which goes off with a bright bang as the player is simultaneously stung by the swarm of wasps. Isabelle stands smiling innocently as the screen swirls to black.
