Animal Crossing New Horizons Nintendo Direct February 2020

For starters, the player will need to have an open spot available on their island. This either means a Villager must be currently leaving or the player must have no more than 9 Villagers currently. To get a Villager from a friend's island, The Villager must be packing up to leave already. Visiting your friend's island while this Villager is in packing up their home will allow the player to invite them over to their island as a permanent resident. A plot of land must also be ready for them to move into. Make sure to have an available home or plot of land ready for their arrival. All the player has to do is speak with them during moving, and the Villager will appear on the player's island as a permanent resident.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has hundreds of different Villager types, it is almost impossible to experience them all. Also, some players grow attached to these Villagers as part of their island family, making it hard to want to let them go. Marshal and Raymond are amongst the most popular Villagers in the community, as players pay hefty prices to recruit them to their island. The reasoning is subjective and personal, but still fuels discussion of trading Villagers. As long as the player enjoys the company of the Villager, that is all that should matter. No matter what though, there will always be a personal favorite for each player. Also, Hamlet is the best.
