Animal Crossing: New Horizons has caught the attention of many celebrities, but only a few have stayed with the game long enough to create fantastic islands. To design a five-star village takes time and effort that famous people may not have between press junkets or other occupational responsibilities. However, some stars have invested lots of time into Animal Crossing, building attractive vacation destinations in New Horizons and sharing it with fans.

Celebrities have been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons and have even interacted with fans through their islands, with Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood going viral after asking a random follower on Twitter if he could visit her island because she posted about having good turnip prices. Since then, stars, politicians, and businesses alike have taken to using the game as a way to market themselves toward potential fans and customers. So popular became this practice that Nintendo released a formal list of usage guidelines at the end of 2020 instructing people and entities using the game to self-promote what they were and were not allowed to do.

While these guidelines resulted in a decrease in the game's use as a self-promotion tool, the celebrities who have stayed with it have proven themselves to be genuinely interested in creating unique island designs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Indeed, some of these figures need a paradisic vacation home to retreat to, as they fulfill some of the most important leadership roles in the world. Others simply enjoy the game with their family, friends, and occasionally even their fans. Regardless, here are some of a few celebrity islands in Animal Crossing that look like perfect getaways.

President Joe Biden's Animal Crossing Island Is Highly Detailed

President Joe Biden may have a busy schedule as the leader of the United States, but he and his staff still have time to play video games. As a way to promote his candidacy during his successful 2020 Presidential Campaign run, President Biden's team created Biden island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a location filled with patriotic imagery and references to the U.S. leader's famous sayings. When players visit Biden HQ, they can find his in-game avatar saying his campaign slogan and personal mantra: "No malarkey."

Players will also find Biden HQ to be immaculately designed. The island is thoroughly paved, fenced, and decorated throughout. Internet personality Greg Miller shared his experience on Biden HQ on his Twitter account, @GameOverGreggy, showing a garden of red, white, and blue roses planted to look like the American flag and custom designs of his campaign logos scattered around the walls of the island. Perhaps Biden HQ's most impressive feat is the White House, though. In one of Animal Crossing New Horizons' forced perspective design tricks, the Biden team used cliffs, fences, simple panels, and the museum to make it seem as if players were looking at the White House from afar. Further adding to the effect is the placement of the fountain, whose small height makes it appear beneath and distanced from onlookers. For players who want to catch this sight at Biden HQ, the dream address is DA-7286-5710-7478.

Danny Trejo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island Is Adorable

Danny Trejo Animal Crossing

Machete actor Danny Trejo may be the last celebrity one would expect to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but he is actually one of the game's biggest fans. Trejo became one of the first Animal Crossing celebrities to blow up on Twitter when the series' newest installment first came out. His village Muscle Island is one of Animal Crossing: New Horizons' best named islands, being aptly monikered after the actor's career wearing tank tops in action films. Trejo is so passionate about the game that he did a short YouTube series with screenwriter Garry Whitta called "Danny's Diary With Danny Trejo" about his misadventures with friends in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Other than just having fun, Trejo has clearly put a lot of hours into turning Muscle Island into a hospitable location. A custom brick path lines the mainland, leading visitors between the fenced houses of his villagers. Trejo must have also put in significant effort in gathering his island residents, as he has some of Animal Crossing: New Horizons' most popular villagers, such as Julian the unicorn. However, Trejo's favorites are Flo the penguin - a surprisingly cute pick for the action star - and Snake the ninja rabbit - a villager more in line with the many roles Trejo has taken on throughout his career. For players hoping to see the action star's island, he unfortunately has chosen not to share his dream address.

T-Pain's Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island Is Practical

Animal Crossing New Horizons T-Pain

Rapper and singer T-Pain is a huge gamer, so it comes as no surprise that his Animal Crossing: New Horizons island is one of the best. T-Pain and his family have become big fans of the game since it launched. Indeed, T-Pain even made an Animal Crossing song about Tom Nook and his semi-villainous habit to make a profit off of players' hard work.

Despite his animosity toward the raccoon landlord, T-Pain has put considerable hours into his village named Oak Island. Rather than going for an aesthetic masterpiece like some, T-Pain has opted for a much more practical layout to his island. He made the center of Oak Island a neighborhood where his villagers live. This way, the rest of his land could be dedicated to growing trees and crops to maximize profits. This smart thinking is probably what allowed T-Pain to help his wife by giving her money to buy turnips as seen in the picture above.

The real highlight of T-Pain's island is his home, though. T-Pain has a knack for designing house interiors in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as his home in Oak Island is partially modeled after his own house in real life. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, he created a recording studio in his basement modeled after his home recording studio; albeit, his recording studio in real life likely does not have laboratory walls.

Celebrities, political leaders, and everyday people can all enjoy the cozy feeling of loading into an island with their favorite villagers and friends. And regardless of whether these celebrities' islands are the most beautiful or not, this sense of connection is what is most important in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
