Animal Crossing: New Horizons' next holiday event is May Day. This guide will help players find May Day tickets and describe their function in the game. Holiday events are a big deal in the world of Animal Crossing. For a limited time, special items to celebrate holidays like Easter and Christmas can be crafted throughout the year. Once the event is over, the items will be gone for good (or at least until Nintendo brings the holiday back the next year). The most recent of these events was the Bunny Day event to celebrate Easter, where eggs were scattered all around the island for players to find. The next event is May Day to celebrate the turn of Spring. This guide will help players discover May Day tickets and describe what they do.

May Day runs for a limited time, beginning on May 1st and ending on May 7th. Within this week, the player will have the opportunity to talk with new vendors on the island, Leif and Redd. Leif is currently in the game, hanging out in the island square, selling shrubs for players to decorate their islands with. Although, the newest feature to come along with the May Day update comes along with the May Day tickets. Using the May Day tickets will allow the player to visit brand new islands apart from their own. This functions very similarly to the Nook Miles tours but these islands are only here for a limited time. Here is where players can find the May Day tickets.

How To Get May Day Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Players will need to wait until May 1st to get a grab at the May Day tickets. This is an event held specifically by Nintendo, meaning fast-forwarding in time will not bring May Day any sooner. On May 1st, head over to Residents Hall and speak with Tom Nook. Tom Nook will provide the player with the first May Day ticket for free. Tom Nook will also describe how players can purchase more during this limited time. Head over to the airport and speak with Orville at the counter. Players can claim the ticket and head over to this new, mysterious island. The layouts are vastly different than regular Nook Mile Tours and will contain unique events for the player to experience.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of the best selling Nintendo Switch titles. The game continues to have holiday events to bring in its players. Wedding Season is also happening at the start of June, containing its own special event for players to go through. The game is a joy to pick up and play for a few minutes a day. Especially at this point since release, the hype has seemed to wind down as players have fallen into a normal routine. Regardless, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has maintained its player's attention and plans to continue this for months to come.
