Getting The Robot Hero Recipe in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing New Horizons Review

The crafting recipe for the Robot Hero can be purchased at the Town Hall Nook Shop. By redeeming 5'000 Nook Miles, you can buy the DIY recipe. Keep in mind that there are a ton of materials needed for this recipe. You will need:

  • 1 Gold Armor
  • 1 Rocket
  • 30 Rusted Parts
  • 90 Iron Nuggets
  • 10 Gold Nuggets

Iron and Gold Nuggets are found underneath rocks. Use your shovel to tap rocks for a chance at finding Nuggets. Gold Nuggets are significantly more rare than Iron. Use your highest grade shovel while tapping rocks to increase the chance of finding Gold Nuggets.

Collecting Rusted Parts in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Rusted Parts are the most time-consuming part of this recipe. They are only available in the recycling bin found in the Resident Services building. These appear randomly, and only seem to begin spawning after Gulliver arrives on the island and is assisted in repairing his Nook Phone.

Rusted Parts take quite a while to cultivate, so make sure you hold onto all that you find throughout the game. It is also a good idea to ask friends if they can hold onto any Rusted Parts they find. Rusted Parts aren't used for too many other things on the island, so they are easy to give up if your friends don't want to build the Robot Hero.

Getting Gold Armor in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The Gold Armor recipe is a random spawn. It could be found within a bottle on the beach or in a floating present. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to guarantee it will be found promptly. Just keep searching and you'll track it down. Crafting the armor takes 8 Gold Nuggets.

Getting the Rocket in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The Rocket recipe can be obtained from Celeste. Come to her during a Meteor Shower and there is a chance she will give it to you. Crafting the Rocket takes 10 Star Fragments and 20 Iron Nuggets. To get Star Fragments, look up during the Meteor Shower and make wishes. Every wish you make increases the chances of finding Star Fragments on the beach the day after the Meteor Shower.

Crafting the Robot Hero in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Once all of the materials are gathered, simply go to your crafting table and build your Robot Hero figure. The figure will arrive immediately, unlike some of the other large craftable items. Place this figure anywhere you'd like. It will even fit inside your house, given you have enough floor space.
