A volatile Animal Crossing: New Horizons build artfully recreates Walter White and the underground superlab from Breaking Bad. Nintendo's social simulation game is known for its wholesome tone and family-friendly nature, which stands in contrast to AMC's intense crime drama series. While one crafty fan previously made a Breaking Bad shed in Stardew Valley, the villainous Heisenberg has now made him way into Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Airing from 2008 to 2013, Breaking Bad tells the story of chemistry teacher Walter White and his journey to become a powerful drug kingpin alongside former student Jesse Pinkman. Praised for its masterful performances and exceptional writing, the show's legacy has lived on through the Netflix film El Camino and the nearly concluded spin-off Better Call Saul. Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston and known in the criminal underworld as Heisenberg, is regarded as one of the most complex and fascinating television characters of all time. Creator and head writer Vince Gilligan recently revealed that he pitched a Breaking Bad game based on Grand Theft Auto which never came to fruition, but now a dedicated fan has brought the show to life through Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Reddit user TonyClifton323 has created their own version of Breaking Bad within the colorful world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The amazing build sees the player's villager transformed into Walter White by recreating the vile chemist's bald head, goatee and orange jumpsuit. Meanwhile, TonyClifton323's Animal Crossing: New Horizons home is transformed into the underground superlab built by Gus Fring and operated by Heisenberg. With large barrels and plenty of lab equipment, this build perfectly captures the look and feel of the Breaking Bad location. The build also comes with a clever pun, with TonyClifton323 declaring themselves "the one who Nooks."

Walter White Becomes The Danger In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

While TonyClifton323's Breaking Bad build transports Heisenberg into a quiet village, fan-made Walter White MultiVersus concept art brings the criminal mastermind onto the crossover battlefield. MultiVersus lets players fight as characters from various Warner Bros. properties, ranging from DC Comics to Game of Thrones. While he hasn't been announced as a potential character, Walter White has become a popular request for inclusion in the crossover epic. Fan art recreates Heisenberg in the game's cartoonish style, and fulminated mercury would certainly make an explosive MultiVersus ability.

While Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Breaking Bad have little in common, the Nintendo title's tools let fans create any crossover they can imagine. Walter White's superlab is an iconic part of the beloved crime drama, and now villagers are free to visit the underground operation whenever they please. However, with Tom Nook already scamming players out of their money Breaking Bad might be a bad influence on the Animal Crossing icon.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available on Nintendo Switch.
