An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player recently designed a wooden deck layout that comes complete with an infinity pool. Since its Nintendo Switch launch over two years ago, ACNH has played host to countless user-created designs of note. ACNH fans have designed everything from superhero hideouts and underwater vacation homes to an evil supervillain lair and the pub from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Needless to say, the game's baked-in creation tools leave the door open for an almost overwhelming number of possibilities.

The user-generated designs especially picked up steam in late 2021, following the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizon's Happy Home Paradise DLC. Notably, the much-beloved expansion invited players to join the Paradise Planning team, a group dedicated to building the ultimate vacation homes for their clients. While Nintendo's support of ACNH may have concluded with the advent of Happy Home Paradise and Update 2.0, its vast community continues to find new ways of keeping themselves and fellow islanders entertained.

The latest inventive Animal Crossing: New Horizons design making the rounds on Reddit comes courtesy of a user named lil_gingerale, who shared before and after screenshots of their all-new infinity pool. A nice wooden deck surrounds all but the backside of Lil_gingerale's pool. Meanwhile, the deck also houses several chairs for relaxation and some well-placed greenery to round out the impressive design. The attention to detail warrants special attention, particularly regarding the realistic-looking water whose patterns the Redditor created. Check it out in the post linked below:

It's neat to see how the Reddit user's infinity pool build evolved over time, starting as somewhat of a simple add-on before morphing into the perfect vacation spot. Thus, the above constitutes nothing short of a paradise within a paradise, one that seems to bear all the trappings of a dream outdoor living space.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons quickly topped the sales charts upon its worldwide release in March 2020. In its first seven weeks alone, the title managed to exceed Nintendo's sales expectations by a wide margin. The numbers just keep climbing, too. At last count in February of this year, the latest Animal Crossing installment had moved a whopping 37.6 million units globally. As a result, the title became the second best-selling Nintendo Switch experience to date, trailing behind Mario Kart 8 Deluxe whose sales have topped 43 million. It should come as no surprise, then, that so many people patiently await news of an ACNH follow-up entry.
