A player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has unveiled their Beauty and the Beast-themed island, complete with a magical rose, Gaston's tavern, and more Disney movie moments. Animal Crossing and Disney movie designs go hand-in-hand, with players having recreated scenes from classics including everything from Moana to Toy Story in the years since the game launched.
While Animal Crossing: New Horizons hasn't partnered with Disney in any official capacity, the game's custom tools give players the chance to create their favorite Disney moments in-game. From designing outfits based on their favorite princesses, to living spaces that look as though they're straight from the films, fans have opted to bring Disney magic to their islands for a long time. Popular movie recreations shared throughout the community include an optical illusion designed to bring Moana's island to Animal Crossing, as well as countless other film scenes such as Studio Ghibli-inspired creations.
Redditor and Animal Crossing player cma2550 shared images of their Beauty and the Beast island online after completing their magical design. The image gallery shows their player character dressed in Belle's blue and white dress, poring over a book outside of Gaston's tavern as the villainous Gaston preens in the background, while a Beast-like character is shown pondering over his magical sparkling rose in the castle's west wing. The user has even recreated the famous ballroom dance scene, and has also shown a "conversation" with a teapot in the banquet room. Going one step further, cma2550 has created an outdoor wonderland based on Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas. The images give just a taste of the impressive and magical Disney recreations, and show what's possible in-game.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast remade in Sims 4 impressed fans recently with its perfect library recreation, while others have also opted to make the film in Animal Crossing using villagers like Elvis the lion in place of Beast.
