A new fan design has mashed up the worlds of Among Us and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and the depth of all of the room choices is a brilliant nod to some of the most common tropes in InnerSloth's multiplayer game. Among Us remains a force in the online multiplayer space, with hundreds of thousands of players daily complemented by the game becoming a fixture in content creators' repertoires, leading to constant exposure and global reach.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons exists in a largely similar space, even sharing similar potency in content creation collaborations between notable streamers or celebrities. One thing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons does better than most is the way it inspires fan content out of its players thanks to its deep customization options. Fans have repeatedly impressed onlookers with deep, intricate recreations of iconic pop culture moments or video game scenes, and thanks to a steady stream of content updates increasing options and keeping players engaged with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the creations haven't shown any signs of slowing down, either.

Combining Among Us and Animal Crossing: New Horizons makes a lot of sense given how important both games were last year, and Twitter user MochaSplats took up the challenge of recreating an Among Us game inside an Animal Crossing room. The result is a creative, smart take on some of the most common elements of an Among Us game. Naturally, there's a dead crewmate in the room, because no Among Us recreation would be complete without the unfortunate first victim of a game. Beyond that, there's also an emergency meeting button and some electrical wiring for people to either fix or pretend to fix depending on their inclination.

The most impressive part of this room design from MochaSplats is the way there seems to constantly be something new to notice. A lot of the Among Us in Animal Crossing nods are subtle, like the ejected crewmate drifting through space on the wall or the vent right beside the scene of the murder. Little touches like those often color the best of Animal Crossing: New Horizon designs, and it's no different here.

The Among Us in Animal Crossing: New Horizons room also makes a compelling argument for a collaboration between the two properties. Fans absolutely adore whenever Animal Crossing devs loved when fans kept crossing over Isabelle into Doom, so there's precedent for the family-friendly villagers to arrive in some less rosy world. If nothing else, some of the more annoying villagers in Animal Crossing becoming Among Us skins could be cathartic for users plagued by their presence.
