First look images for Angelina Jolie's upcoming film Without Blood, starring Salma Hayek, have been revealed. As an Academy Award-winning actress and humanitarian, with 40 years in the entertainment industry and numerous accolades, Jolie expanded upon her career in 2011, making her directorial debut with the war drama film In the Land of Blood and Honey. Since then, Jolie she has directed three more films: the war film Unbroken, the romantic drama By the Sea, and the biographical historical thriller First They Killed My Father. Without Blood is Jolie's next film as director, and it stars Salma Hayek, with whom Jolie starred alongside in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals just last year.

Now, the first images of Without Blood have been released via People. There are a total of six set photos. They include one of Jolie talking with Hayek, a still shot of Hayek in character, Jolie talking with her son Pax—who along with one of her other sons, Maddox, worked in the assistant director department on the film—and more. The film is based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Alessandro Barrico, which Jolie describes as impactful, saying that, "it carries themes and questions important to discuss." Jolie additionally praised the performances that Salma Hayek and the film's other lead, Demián Bichir, give in the movie, just as Hayek recently praised Jolie as director. Without Blood currently has no set release date, but with high praise both ways—between two highly-accomplished women in the entertainment industry—whenever the film's release happens, it will surely be one not to miss.
