New photos and video from the set of Andor show the return of Ruescott Melshi, who died in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Disney's Star Wars sequel trilogy may have been controversial, but Rogue One was considered one of the better films produced by the House of Mouse. Disney+ has allowed the studio to expand the franchise with several Star Wars movies and TV shows in development. One of the many projects coming to Disney+ is Andor, which is a prequel to Rogue One, telling the origin story of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna).

Like many Disney+ Star Wars shows, details for Andor are being kept under lock and key, but there have been a few updates regarding its cast. Luna is of course returning as Cassian Andor, but he will be joined by Genevieve O'Reilly, who played Mon Mothma in Rogue One and Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith, and Chernobyl's Robert Emms, who was just recently cast in the series. Many were hoping to see the return of Alan Tudyk's K-2SO, but Andor season 1 will not feature the fan-favorite droid. It's unknown what other members of the Rogue One Squadron will return in the prequel; however, one crew member has seemingly been confirmed.

New set photos and a video posted online by Nação Star Wars show Duncan Pow, who played Sergeant Melshi in Rogue One, on the set of the Disney+ series filming a scene with Luna. Initially, the actor shown was thought to be Nick Blood (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), but a second shot confirms that it was indeed Pow.

It should be noted that Pow has not been confirmed for the Andor cast, but his return really isn't that surprising. There are bound to be a few surprise cameos in the show, and Melshi was an ally to Andor in the movie. It's been rumored that Andor could run for more than one season, meaning there are multiple opportunities for popular characters like Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen), or Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) to return. Previous reports indicate that Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan Kenobi will have a recurring role in Andor, which would connect to his own spin-off series.

In recent months there have been a ton of set photos leaking from Andor showing off massive sets, Shoretroopers, and a confrontation between Rebels and the Empire. These set photos don't give a great look at the show since they aren't officially released by Disney but they do offer an idea of what will be involved in Andor. Disney previously shared a sizzle reel with concept art of Andor, which gave the best look yet at the new Star Wars show. With filming continuing on Andor, more leaked set photos and possibly even another official look are bound to be released in the coming months.
