The AndaSeat Phantom 3 Series Premium Gaming Chair is adequately comfortable, well-built, and easy to assemble at a questionable price point. It comes in multiple colors, with a couple options for fabric, and its adjustability means most won't have an issue finding a comfortable position. Being rather sturdy, the AndaSeat Phantom 3 feels built to last, warranting its price but perhaps sacrificing some short term comfort for long term reliability.

Out of the box, the Phantom 3 is incredibly easy to assemble. It comes with the wheels, base, seat, and back rest all separate, but every component either slots together without additional components, or requires only a few of the provided hex screws. Additionally, the assembly instructions come in 10 different languages, with pictures accompanying every step, creating virtually no hassle in putting together the AndaSeat gaming chair aside from the short time investment involved.

With the provided back cushion, it's easy to sit in a position that supports good posture. The Phantom 3's backrest itself is rather concave, built to somewhat emulate a racing seat, so while those prone to slouching probably won't want to go without the back cushion, it does provide an insular, molded feeling. The neck pillow is similarly necessary for users that want to lean all the way back, though gaming or working at a desk makes its added padding more of a luxury than a necessity.

The seat isn't exceptionally soft or cushioned on the Phantom 3, but that's not necessarily all bad. The stiffness of it provides good support over multiple hours of sitting, and the leather fabric option feels as though it won't wear out in short order. The leather on the AndaSeat gaming chair can, however, be overly warm, as it's not especially breathable. Its seat does still have some give, though, and with the tunable tilt mechanism, and adjustable arm rests and reclining backrest, the Phantom 3 has enough versatility to overcome its drawbacks.

A sticking point for consumers, however, might be the AndaSeat Phantom 3 Series' price. With a retail rate of $449.99, it's quite the investment if the buyer doesn't spend hours a day at their desk. At the time of writing, though, AndaSeat's Cyber Monday sale is ongoing, bringing the price of various colors down to a steal at $249.99 or $299.99. The retail price isn't outrageous, but will likely only entice those who work from home or are prone to extended gaming sessions, which the versatile style of AndaSeat's gaming chairs cater to admirably. The AndaSeat Phantom 3 Series Premium Gaming Chair's adjustability allows for long term comfort, and the sturdiness with which it's built may be enough to justify the investment for those intending to put the chair through its paces.
