And Just Like That stars Parker and Sara Ramirez took to Instagram to post behind-the-scenes photos of the first table read for season 2. Parker's photo shows the front of a script for the first episode of season 2, but leaves the title of the episode blurred out. Of course, the behind-the-scenes photos from Parker and Ramirez mean And Just Like That season 2 has officially kicked off. For now, the wait is on to see if the And Just Like That cast will dole out more information about season 2, such as episode titles and character details. It was recently announced that John Corbett would reprise his role as Carrie's ex-fiance Aidan Shaw in the upcoming installment, much to the delight of Aidan fans. Between that thrilling announcement and the confirmation that work is really underway, more And Just Like That updates could be arriving soon.
As of right now, HBO Max has yet to announce the release date for And Just Like That season 2. However, with the table read taking place recently, it seems likely that filming will commence very soon, possibly even as early as next week. Assuming production will continue for a few months, there is a chance And Just Like That season 2 will premiere in the summer of 2023. Unfortunately, for Samantha fans, Cattrall won't appear in the new season, and the actress confirmed she has no interest in reprising her role as Samantha in the future.
