Graphing calculator gaming just got taken to the next level, as a tech-savvy Among Us fan shared a photo of the popular social deception game ported to a TI-84 calculator, complete with mini crewmates and vents. Plus, they shared downloadable files for other fans to bring Among Us to their own graphing calculators. The game's official release has been fairly limited, only coming to PC and mobile platforms since its launch in 2018.

InnerSloth's Among Us saw a huge boost in popularity this year thanks to popular streamers and YouTubers playing it together live. The mobile and PC title where players have to find a killer among them quickly became a go-to online activity with friends during the COVID-19 lockdowns. In the past few months, Among Us fans have gotten seriously creative in the ways they emulate the game in art and other technologies. Just last week, a fan even reimagined Among Us as a Nintendo Game Boy game. As it turns out, the game can be coded for graphing calculators, too.

Reddit user EverydayCodeNet shared a photo of Among Us running on a TI-84 graphing calculator, which they dubbed "Among Math." In the image, a blue crewmate labeled "you" stood beside a dead body, while an unnamed red crewmate could be seen in the next room over. The game's vent, report, and sabotages buttons were all present. The game was a bit different in that the rooms were only white and empty, void of the graphics found the actual Among Us, but this graphing calculator version looked very impressive nonetheless.

Later in the Reddit thread, EverydayCodeNet shared a video explaining how to code the game for the calculator and sampling a bit of gameplay. In the clip, the Redditor performed an Among Us speed run where they located and killed every crewmate in just over a minute, using both vents and traveling on foot. The game does not support multiplayer mode right now, but EverydayCodeNet noted that they want to add that in the future. Fellow TI-84 calculator owners are in luck, because EverydayCodeNet even included a link to download the coding assets.

Playing Among Us solo on a graphing calculator may not be gamers' go-to option, but it's certainly a fun way for players to practice their Impostor skills and get to know the map layouts. There's no tasks involved, so they can just see how quickly they can eliminate crewmates and try to break their own records. After all, this may just be a great way to keep busy while fans await the arrival of the brand new Henry Stickmin-themed Among Us map in early 2021.
