The athletic course for youths is back, as American Ninja Warrior Junior season three has gotten the green light, and we're here to share lots of facts about the upcoming season. This junior version of American Ninja Warrior will stream on Peacock. This is a spinoff that fans are looking forward to. Viewers will be able to watch fifteen new episodes and follow along with contestants who are pumped to navigate past some pretty creative hazards in order to win.

Co-hosts are doctor and comedian Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila. They provide  boisterous enthusiasm that will surely leave viewers soaring for days on end. Unlike the adult version of the show, the twelve child contestants are split into age groups to account for fairness (as well as growth spurts). The obstacles are also adjusted for height and weight differences, given that the traditional Wall would be too difficult to navigate. Season 2 was filmed in Los Angeles, where kids competed for the qualifier to become Junior Ninjas. Mentors shout enthusiasm from the sidelines and also yell out instructions when instructors get stuck. They even run to keep up with the kids. They stay on task to help everyone finish the course until they either reach the wall or fall into the various water zones.

Streaming service Peacock has revealed that it picked up the season from Universal Kids. As of June 2021, the Universal Kids YouTube channel still has videos from previous seasons. They have ordered fifteen episodes, with filming pending until the twelve contestants are chosen. Iseman and former NFL player Gbajabiamila are returning with on-site reporter Victoria Arlen, and seem pumped to witness the new Young Ninjas, as well as the changing courses. Casting sent out a call for applications starting on February 19, 2021. Peacock hopes to release a list of the 2021 Young Ninjas by the end of the summer. Some special guests and unique stunts may also make an appearance, to wow both the audiences on-site and the ones at home. Currently, there is no confirmation about how production will handle COVID regulations, especially since kids under 12 cannot receive the vaccine.

American Ninja Warrior Junior

The kids are going to be the best part of season three. Each episode records their bubbly energy and determination. They want to prove they have the stamina, agility, and upper body strength to reach that coveted buzzer. Previous Junior Ninjas have talked about how much fun they have, and that even while preparing to tackle these obstacles, they still have time for their families. Their family members support them from the sidelines. Some contestants have sweet stories or sad ones. Others simply want to enjoy the course and see how far they can go. Those who wipe out are graceful about their losses. They are willing to take a second chance.

Support is a high priority for the younger contestants. Mentors are important for the show, to assist with training and talking the kids through tough spots. It makes sense, especially for those in the 9 to 10-year-old group. Many of these kids have pursued the parkour training discipline as a passion, using it to make exercise fun or attract social media followers. It's in the best interest of the show to encourage these kids to keep working on their parkour, which gives them "feel good" endorphins.

Fans who want to see these Young Ninjas earn the shortest times and win over a new array of fans may want to get ready. Other spinoffs are in the works. Peacock wants to get viewers excited, and American Ninja Warrior Junior applicants are more than prepared to reach for the buzzer. They just need to find the handholds in the wall.
