He stunned the judges throughout the weeks with his artistry and originality, bringing his own style to songs such as "Wonderwall" by Oasis and "Go the Distance" from Hercules. Fritz also performed his original music on the show moving the audience with heartfelt songs such as "Inconsequential Love," "All My Friends," and "The Ocean."

Nicolina is an 18-year-old university student from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a powerhouse vocalist who performed songs with feeling and conviction, and fans were wowed by her talent. Nicolina made history on the show twice during Disney Night as the first Canadian finalist to make it into the Top 7 and the first contestant to sing a Disney villain song with her outstanding rendition of "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from The Little Mermaid. Nicolina impressed the judges with her jaw-dropping performances such as "She Used to Be Mine" by Sara Bareilles, "Since U Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson, "Alone" by Heart, "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood, and "All I Ask" by Adele.

In interviews with Screen Rant, Fritz and Nicolina revealed which Bruce Springsteen songs they would have sung if they had made it into the finale of the show. Fritz shared that he would have sung Bruce's classic song, "Dancing in the Dark." He said that it is his favorite Bruce Springsteen song. Although Fritz and Nicolina will not have the opportunity to sing these songs on the American Idol finale, their bodies of work on the show are impressive and complete.
