Angelic Ross, one of the stars of American Horror Story: Double Feature, thinks season 10 of the hit FX show premieres next month. Ross has worked closely with AHS producer Ryan Murphy on both the horror anthology series and drag ball drama Pose. Ross debuted in the latter series in 2018, prompting Murphy to bring her onboard for American Horror Story: 1984 where she played Donna Chambers, a serial killer obsessed psychologist in all nine episodes.

Like many of the details surrounding American Horror Story season 10, Ross' role in the latest entry is being kept under wraps. The actress will be joined by a slew of AHS veterans in the upcoming season, including Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Lily Rabe, and Emma Roberts. American Horror Story: Double Feature was initially set to release in 2020, but was pushed back as production wasn't able to resume until December 2020. A release date has yet to be announced, but if Ross' latest interview is any indication, it may be sooner than anyone would've guessed.

Speaking to EW about her mysterious character, Ross revealed that she thinks Double Feature premieres sometime in June. Representatives for FX did not return a request for comment on Ross' statement and the actress did not give an exact date.

I think it premieres next month, but I don't know.

American Horror Story 10

Typically, seasons of American Horror Story premiere in the fall. Out of the past nine seasons, five have debuted in October and four in September. Most recently, American Horror Story: 1984, Ross' debut season, bowed in September before completing its run in November of 2019. As for season 10, Evan Peters was spotted filming AHS as recently as late April, indicating that filming may not even be finished yet. It's possible that Ross merely slipped up or misheard information that she then passed along, but there are some things that could point to her statement being true.

The fact that it's been almost two years since American Horror Story has been on the air could prompt FX to debut the latest season earlier than normal. With spinoff American Horror Stories also presumably debuting sometime this year, the network could be attempting to avoid crowding the fall schedule with multiple AHS-related shows that could potentially lead to some confusion for fans. Still, with filming seemingly still underway, it seems unlikely that the show would be ready in time for a June premiere. While fans would be delighted to find out that American Horror Story: Double Feature will be back on screens in a few short weeks, it seems a tad unrealistic.
