Lisa Vanderpump, of Vanderpump Rules, threw shade back at American Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson. Real Housewives superfan Paulson knew she would be in trouble for telling Vanity Fair that she did not like Vanderpump very much, and boy was she right.
On the Bravo Real Housewives franchise, there have been some recent shake-ups that have even left Hollywood actresses upset. Not only did Bethenny Frankel walk away from the gig, but so did Vanderpump at the end of her season. In a lie detector interview, Paulson opened up about her opinions, saying she wasn’t sure what to think when she heard the news, leading her down a wormhole of no return with one particular housewife.
Vanderpump clapped back at Paulson after she revealed that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member was not very nice to her. Vanderpump took to her social media account, according to Us Weekly, to reply to Paulson’s post, saying that she was sorry, but also was not sure she even knows Paulson, as she never believed that the two had met. With a bit of shade, she ended her "apology" saying she always tried to be “nice to everyone.” Fans took to Vanderpump’s defense very quickly, telling the American Horror Story star that not everyone is meant to be friends.
Originally, Paulson had accused the Bravo star of being very rude to her during an encounter. In a statement to Vanity Fair, the actress said that no one will miss her from the group of friends with the Beverly Hills housewives. What the group would miss was the way she instills the “fear of God” into everyone. Paulson continued to detail her first impression of the animal-lover by going on to say that her first impression of her wasn't great after meeting her once at a party.
Vanderpump had a very hard time on her last season of the reality show and decided to leave after the ninth season. She made a swift departure during the middle of the season, leaving her castmates to fill in the storylines and making sure to burn bridges as she walked away. While Vanderpump usually tries to play off her attitude as being “British,” many defenders of Paulson were quick to point out that Vanderpump’s reply mimicked that of Mariah Carey’s when she said “I don’t know her” regarding Jennifer Lopez. Fans of both women are sure neither one of them is losing sleep over the other not liking them. Vanderpump can concentrate on her spinoff Bravo show and her restaurants, while Paulson continues to impress in front of the camra.
