Leslie Grossman has become a staple on American Horror Story in its most recent seasons. Grossman was an established actress long before she joined the cast of the horror anthology series, so she brought a certain level of star power to the rotating cast. While Grossman joined later in the show's run, she quickly fell in line with the rest of the cast, and will be returning for her fourth appearance in American Horror Story season 10.

Grossman seemed to reach her peak popularity around the early 2000s. She had roles on shows such as Popular and What I Like About You. Grossman was also featured on a few episodes of Nip/Tuck, which was created by Ryan Murphy. Her appearance on the show is likely what led to Grossman becoming a regular on American Horror Story.

American Horror Story is known for its campy horror, and Leslie knows how to bring the camp. Each of her characters so far have been over-the-top and fun. Here's a breakdown of every character Leslie Grossman has played so far.

Meadow Wilton (Cult)

Meadow on AHS

Meadow was Grossman's introduction to the American Horror Story universe. Meadow was a neighbor of Ally (Sarah Paulson) and Ivy's (Allison Pill), along with being a member of Kai Anderson's (Evan Peters) cult. As was true with all faithful members of the cult, Meadow was devious and manipulative. She worked to drive a wedge between Ally and Ivy, only to later try to convince Ally she was truly on her side and wanted to take Kai and his cult down. During her time in the cult, Meadow fell deeply in love with Kai. Her time in Cult stopped short as she shot herself in the name of her love for and dedication to Kai.

Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt (Apocalypse)

Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt

Grossman's Apocalypse character Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt was central in the season's biggest plot twist. American Horror Story season 8 initially told the story of a group of people who buy their way into a bunker after a nuclear apocalypse. Partway through the season it's revealed that Coco and her assistant Mallory (Billie Lourd) are actually memory-wiped members of the group of witches featured in American Horror Story: Coven. Mallory may have been the key figure in reversing the apocalypse, but Grossman regularly stole the show with Coco's snarky-one liners and ridiculously trivial powers as a witch.

Margaret Booth (1984)

Margaret Booth AHS 1984

Grossman's previous American Horror Story characters all had a bit of an edge to them. But she fully went evil with Margaret Booth, the killer in the horror movie-inspired season. Her 1984 character was an intensely religious camp director with a secret. As a camp counselor years prior, she murdered a slew of her fellow counselors who regularly mocked her. She came back with a murderous vengeance during the events of 1984 and was killed, condemning her to an eternity haunting the camp grounds as a ghost.

Leslie Grossman's American Horror Story characters have become increasingly more fun and outrageous with every passing season. Audiences can expect Grossman to bring that same level of outrageous camp to whoever she may play in American Horror Story season 10.
