Creator and producer Ryan Murphy has shared new artwork that reveals a 'love story' in American Horror Story: Cult. Murphy has been teasing fans for quite a few weeks now about the upcoming seventh season of the anthology horror/drama - and when it was revealed last week at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) that the new season will be officially titled 'Cult', fans have been eager to learn more about how the originally-announced election-themed season is going to blend with the clown-cult idea presented in the first trailer.

So far we know that AHS alums Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy and Mare Winningham will be returning with newcomers Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner, Billie Lourd, Colton Haynes, Alison Pill and Lena Dunham. We also know that the season will consist of 11 episodes, that it will be delving into “deeper histories and mythologies” for several Freak Show characters according to Murphy - including former villain Twisty the Clown, as teased in another Instagram post - and will include real footage of the 2016 election.

Murphy has now revealed some new information regarding Paulson and Peters' characters in the cult-themed season, via another Instagram post showing some creepy artwork for the next season of American Horror Story. Check out the post below:

Ally and Kai in CULT...a love story for the ages. A post shared by Ryan Murphy (@mrrpmurphy) on

Murphy captioned the artwork, "Ally and Kai in CULT...a love story for the ages", in turn showing Peters as Kai with his blue hair we have been getting glimpses of in the leaked photos of Peters on set. Murphy also revealed in a recent Twitter Q&A that the new season will be the actor's "heaviest season yet," which should make longtime fans excited, considering Peters had a fairly small role in the series' last season, Roanoke. Murphy also revealed that Paulson will be playing a character named Ally, who will be involved in a 'love story' with Kai.

This will be the second time Paulson and Peters will be coming together as a couple in AHS, the first time was last season during the second half of Roanoke - when Paulson's character Audrey Tindall (who played Shelby Miller in the season's show within a show, My Roanoke Nightmare) fell in love with her co-star Rory Monahan (who played Edward Philippe Mott in My Roanoke Nightmare) and the two got married, before they both met their demise by the season's end. It's going to be interesting to see the two actors come together again for yet another love story, but we will have to wait until September to see if this romance is also doomed in typical AHS fashion.
