Magician Scott Alexander, who appeared in America's Got Talent season 6 in 2011, died at 52. Alexander is famous for how he wowed AGT judges Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan, and Howie Mandel during his magical displays in 2011. Part of his magic tricks involved making his wife, Jenny, appear from thin air, much to the judges' and audience's amazement. Scott had an amazing run on AGT before being eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Those amazing moments Scott gave to AGT fans will live forever and are now more special following the announcement that he has died. On February 6, his wife, Jenny, announced his death via an emotional post on Instagram. In the post, Jenny revealed that Scott died on February 5 after suffering a stroke.

Jenny's post was accompanied by pictures of her and Scott posing with their children, 18-year-old Jack, 17-year-old Roxy, and 13-year-old Sawyer. Jenny's emotional caption read, "I lost my husband yesterday. My kids lost their father. He suffered a stroke while working on a cruise ship in St Kitts and did not make it home to us. We are shattered. Please hold us in your prayers."

GoFundMe Page Set Up For AGT Alum Scott Anderson's Family

AGT's Scott Anderson and his family

Following the AGT alum's tragic death, a GoFundMe was opened by Ashley DeStephano with the goal of raising $200,000 for his family. On the fundraising page, he was described as a good man, a loving husband, a caring father, and a family man. Scott was also said to have helped with homecoming parade floats, science projects, Halloween costumes, and his kids' talent show school performances. The fundraising page also revealed that Scott went on to perform on the magic competition series Penn & Teller: Fool Us and The Oprah Winfrey Show after his appearance on AGT.

These are difficult times for Scott's family, as they would never have expected him passing away. It is much harder for the bereaved family to accept, given the nature of his death. They would have spent the last moments of his life hoping he survived the stroke, but their hopes unfortunately turned to heartbreak. Hopefully, the AGT alum's family will have the strength to overcome their husband and father's death and become a stronger unit afterwards.

Meanwhile, the family hopes to get as much support as possible through the fundraiser set up for them so they can get through this phase and have a brighter future. People are already responding, and more will do so in the future. Scott lived most of his life making magic to brighten people's lives as he did during his time on America's Got Talent. After his death, those memories will live forever in his fans' and loved ones' hearts and minds.

America's Got Talent: All-Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
