Warning! Potential spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Before America Chavez teams up with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the powerful dimension-hopping Marvel Comics hero stars in a stunning cosplay from talented cosplayer Momo Kariño. On her Twitter account, Kariño shared comic-book-inspired costumes that Chavez has sported, bringing the hero to life in bold ensembles that showcase the MCU's next great character.

America Chavez, who uses the superhero moniker Miss America, is a relatively new hero to Marvel Comics canon, debuting in Vengeance #1 by Joe Casey and Nick Dragotta. Chavez has some incredible powers, as, besides super-strength, durability, and flight, she can punch star-shaped dimensional rifts that allow her to travel the Multiverse and different realities. Chavez made comic book history, being the first Latin-American LGBTQ character to star in her own series in 2017. She currently stars in her own limited series America Chavez: Made in the USAChavez has been a key member of the Young Avengers and is set to make her live-action debut in the MCU in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswhere she'll be portrayed by newcomer Xochitl Gomez.

Cosplayer Momo Kariño shared two different takes on America Chavez on her Twitter account. In the first cosplay (photo by @karamelphotos), Kariño is wearing the costume Chavez sported in the America series by Gabby Rivera and Joe Quinones. That look is more of a traditional superhero costume, as she sports a bodysuit with a shield logo on the front with a red leather jacket. Kariño's second look for America Chavez is straight out of the Young Avengers by Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie. It also seems to be closer to the look Gomez will sport during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Check out both cosplays in the tweet below.

America Chavez's costumes aren't the most complicated, yet Kariño brings them to life in perfect detail. Both looks are comic-accurate and share many of the same elements Chavez is worn in the comics. They're fantastic cosplay recreations.

With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness still a few months away from coming to theatres, the cosplay from Momo Kariño should make those who are excited to see America Chavez in live-action excited for her upcoming debut. America Chavez is such a fun character and it's great to see Momo Kariño bring the hero to life and nail her best costumes.
