The Boys debuted on Amazon Prime Video to glowing reviews and commercial success, and it's created a fan community much larger than the one the original comics had (with celebrities like Barack Obama endorsing the show, it's easy to see why). Any show this big is bound to have some talented artists following it as well, and many of these artists have shown their appreciation for The Boys by creating fan art out of its characters.

The 10 pieces you're about to see are the ones that truly went above and beyond. As always, if you like the art, be sure the check out the original artists and support them in whatever way you can!

Sthellsz

This piece of fan art, drawn by Sthellsz, depicts Kimiko (also known as "The Female"), a member of The Boys with superhuman abilities and mysterious origins.

Kimiko is drawn excellently, and it's clear her design here has roots in both how she looks in the comics and how she looks in the TV show. The vibrant colors illuminating her make for a spirited addition to her spectacular design, while her rigid pose makes it very clear she's always ready for a fight.

Marioogabrielle

Marioogabrielle perfectly captures the devilishly deceptive charisma of Stormfront with this incredible piece of artwork, as the character sports a smug expression while honing her electrical powers in a particularly vicious selfie.

The design is breathtaking, cartoonish in a way, but also very expressive and true to Stormfront's overall appearance. The shading and colors are likewise very well-executed.

Liu-psypher

Artist Liu-psypher explores crossover opportunities with this fan art that reimagines characters from The Boys in the style of characters from another comic series that received critical acclaim and a star-studded adaptation, Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim.

Surprisingly, the two work very well together, although that's in no small part due to the artist's unique talent and attention to detail.

Deimos Art

Deimos Art's take on Homelander finds the character among wreckage presumably of his own creation, as his eyes shine with their treacherous red glint.

The artist does a great job of capturing his unflinchingly evil personality, painting the portrait of a man who's become so desensitized to his actions that the disastrous things going on around him are entirely unremarkable.

Kelly Harris

Illustrator Kathy Harris offers a more Disney-villain-like look at Homelander, as the character smiles wickedly, revealing his malicious (and quite possibly deadly) intentions.

Homelander's design is amazing and it really does justice to the character without being too artistically derivative. The glow around him is particularly interesting; it conveys an otherworldly visage that fits right in with the character's actual appearance.

TKDraws

Eagerly awaiting the release of The Boys season 2, artist TKDraws sketched this neat little doodle of fan-favorite characters Frenchie and Kimiko. They both look a bit more casual than we ever see them in the series, which means that the strength of this piece of fan art really lies within how well the artist brought their personalities to life.

Indeed, the exceptional designs really do speak to both characters' inner qualities, and despite their appearances being simplified from the live-action versions, there's surprisingly little lost between the two versions.

EddieHolly

Artist Eddie Holly is without question one of the most talented fan artists out there; the level of realism in this piece is extraordinary.

Homelander's every detail is rendered accurately, with his boastful, conniving appearance sharply contrasting with the equally well-drawn Billy Butcher's peppery stare. The fire in the background, meanwhile, creates a much-needed source of conflict between the drawing's two subjects.

Venamis

Artist Venamis created this epic fan art of Homelander freaking out, showing a beautifully stylized version of what the character looks like pushed to the brink.

Homelander's rage is creatively detailed, and the sharp textures and colors that emerge as a result are part of what makes fan art of The Boys in particular so fun.

Gabitz_art

Gabitz_art used their creative style on several different characters from The Boys, giving each one a distinct appearance that perfectly matches their personality.

Since this drawing is in black-and-white, it really relies on the textures and shading, things that ended up working especially well on elements such as the characters' faces and hair. Drawing one character perfectly deserves a pat on the back, but five is an achievement to be truly proud of.

ThisUserIsAngry

Artist ThisUserIsAngry crafted the perfect matchup between Homelander and Billy Butcher with a marvelous piece of fan art that considers what both live-action characters would look like as caricatures of themselves.

The line art on this one is especially good and is among the most detailed we've seen so far, but it's carried further by the artist's excellent handling of colors, shading, and textures. Fanart doesn't get much better than this.
