The world is waiting for The Amazing Race teams that will once again captivate viewers for another season. This show is filled with pitstops, detours, and challenges that come with a final reward of $1 million. The Amazing Race has the unique angle of putting teams in the real world and having them deal with real-life problems, like sleep deprivation, long hours, and challenges. Subsequently, after 32 seasons, fans have seen it all.

Villans and fan-favorite teams were found in every season, leaving a lasting impression. Every season brought new levels of excitement and tension. Since the show's inception, there have been teams that have tried their hardest with their strength, creativity, communication, decision-making, and just luck, to become the winners. However, winning is not always what makes a team memorable.

Nat & Kat - Season 17

Nat and Kat, known as "The Doctors Team," were quickly determined as one of the strongest teams of the season. They were athletic, determined, and strong. There was nothing that could stop them.

Kat broke her vegetarian diet and Nat faced her fear of heights. A couple of heroines that never looked back and kept their eyes on the goal, they fought to their historic win, becoming the first all-female team to win. As Kat explained, "sometimes it comes down to choosing the right taxi driver."

Tammy & Victor - Season 14

Tammy and Victor from The Amazing Race

Lawyers have had a great reputation on TAR. This was no different for Tammy and Victor, the official winners of their season. Tammy and Victor had many memorable moments during the race. They hiked the wrong way up a mountain in Romania, which led to Tammy finally standing up to her older brother about his decision-making.

Tammy sprinted half-naked in Siberia, and Victor ate a fried starfish. The team was perceived by some viewers as conniving and untrustworthy at times, but that did not make them quit and, instead, they made history by becoming the first Asian-American winners.

Kendra & Freddy - Season 6

Kendra and Freddy from The Amazing Race

A memorable team for all the wrong reasons, this duo of engaged models left viewers baffled. Kendra quickly earned an infamous reputation for her racist insults towards Senegalese people.

Freddy's outburst was one to remember after he got hit with a metal bar on the head in Budapest, threatening to, "rip someone in half." Although they became the official winners of the season, it was Kendra's comments and Freddy's outburst that made this villainous team truly memorable.

Adam & Bethany - Season 25

Adam and Bethany from The Amazing Race

The team of "Married Surfers" was a fan-favorite team. Bethany survived a shark attack earlier in her life that cost her her left arm. The attack and her incredible, inspiring story were turned into a dramatic film called Soul Surfer. Bethany called her husband "Honey Buns" during the race, as a sign of sweetness and young love.

This strong team remained positive with and supportive of one another and Bethany is considered one of the best all-time female racers. No challenge was too difficult and there were never any complaints.

Colin & Christie - Season 5 & Season 31

Colin and Christie from The Amazing Race

This team had the chance to come back and claim the prize they fought for all those years ago. Colin and Christie were the official winners of season 31. However, Colin's introduction in season 5 was a little concerning after describing himself as "the most intense person that's ever run the race."

Colin quickly became memorable after losing his temper in Tanzania when he decided not to pay a cab driver, which almost led to his arrest. In addition, he had a hard time with an ox that left him absolutely furious. Christie was constantly being berated by him, as well. And who could forget the caviar food challenge? Christie was no saint either since she implored a driver to run over people in order to get to their destination faster.

Mark & Bopper - Season 20

Make and Bopper from The Amazing Race

This charming Southern team from Kentucky quickly won the hearts of fans. They were focused on running the race and staying genuine to their values and morals, which didn't include any conniving tricks or alliances. They tried their very best to help whenever they could and stay out of the drama.

Fans loved this team so much that they were hoping for a comeback. Mark returned with Mallory for TAR: All-Stars (but Bopper couldn't, due to health complications). Mark and Bopper fought hard to catch up to the teams in India with their Fast Forward, where Bopper had to shave his head, but unfortunately, they were eliminated.

Jet & Cord - Season 16, The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business & The Amazing Race: All-Stars

Jet and Cord from The Amazing Race

A team is memorable when they have been invited to the show for three seasons. The handsome and quick-witted cowboy brothers distinguished themselves through their independence, perfect teamwork strategies, and intelligence. There was controversy, though, regarding the season 16 win, after Dan and Jordan cut in line, and allegedly homophobic comments were leveled towards them.

The team did prove their resilience during their tasks, so much so that, at one point, they jumped from last to first after a Speed Bump, for the first time ever on the show.

Danny & Oswald - Season 2 & The Amazing Race: All-Stars

Danny and Oswald from The Amazing Race with their arms around each other.

"We are going on this race because we are absolutely fabulous." These were the words that would introduce a fan-favorite team. They were patient with one another, friendly to locals, and calm throughout the drama (except on TAR: All-Stars when karma bit them in the back). One of the most iconic moments of season 2 came when the two best friends were in Hong Kong.

Their savvy tactics got them the first flight out, a ride in a black Mercedes, and a whole hour of shopping. Like Oswald said, "the moment she said she needed an hour for our flights, we said we need an hour to go shopping." The scene of the duo walking in Hong Kong with Starbucks in their hands will live in the hearts of the fans forever.

Mirna & Charla - Season 5 & The Amazing Race: All-Stars

Mirna and Charla in The Amazing Race talking to camera with sweaters on.

Charla came on the show with a mission to break all stereotypes about little people. This pair of outspoken cousins had quite the rivalry and seemed to be constantly involved in drama. Two of the funniest moments with this unique duo came when, after playing a hand of poker, Mirna asked Charla if there was time for a round of blackjack (Mirna claimed that she attended multiple blackjack tournaments).

The second moment came when Mirna and Charla were trying to rush Rob and Amber. Mirna yells in anguish: "Charla Level 5! Level 5 on the treadmill!"

Uchenna & Joyce - Season 7 & The Amazing Race: All-Stars

Uchenna and Joyce

The official winners of season 7 were perhaps the most underrated couple, as the famous Survivor couple, Rob and Amber, dominated for much of the season. They never stood out as the strongest team and yet, when push came to shove, they were ready for their tasks.

For the Fast Forward in Jodhpur, India, Joyce agreed to shave her head without any hesitation. The support that she received from Uchenna melted the hearts of fans, and as Joyce's tears fell on the ground, she repeated, "It's just hair." She is the only female contestant who completed this task.
