All Of Us Are Dead is an action-packed show in nearly every aspect. Viewers would think zombies don't need any "choreography", but the use of quick and very flexible dancers means that the zombies are incredibly unorthodox and need skilled fighters to overcome.

Thankfully for the cast, there are a lot of skilled fighters who hold their own against the zombie onslaught. Sometimes, they even have to use this skill against other humans. Whether it's through martial arts or weapons skills, these characters show why combat is a crucial aspect of survival.

Nam On-Jo

Nam On-Jo on Phone

Nam On-Jo is also one of the more frail students in the group, but she more than makes up for it with her bravery and wits. While she does often get herself into danger and needs to be saved by one of the others, she's also just as willing to help them out when they are in trouble.

Unfortunately, she often puts herself at risk when she does so. It does motivate the student she helps to protect her, so it's a strange kind of extra support that she gives. Despite being meek, she's still ready to throw down to survive.

Oh Joon-Yeong

Oh Joon-Yeong Looking Worried

Joon-Yeong is one of the nerdier students in the group but he still has a survival instinct. Joon-Yeong is one of the first to throw themselves onto doors to hold them closed and he's often one of the first to grab a makeshift weapon to push zombies away.

However, he's also quite shaken by the events transpiring in the school, and that does affect his fighting abilities. Sadly, it's only when he's bitten that he has no more fear, and his distraction saves the group from being overwhelmed.

Park Mi-Jin

Park Mi-Jin With Lighter

Mi-Jin knows how to survive in a zombie apocalypse, and isn't afraid to do what it takes. She immediately figures out that a girl is infected, locks her in, and makes a spear out of a mop in less than a minute. She may be a bit sloppy with her spear, but she's one of the few students who are willing to kill to survive.

Her fighting skills aren't exactly that of a martial artist, but she knows enough to stick them with the pointy end, at least. That's a lot more than most of the other students in the school.

Yang Dae-Su

Yang Dae-Su Looking Worried

Yang Dae-Su is one of the most physically imposing characters in the cast and is usually counted on to be the muscle of the group. He can tackle zombies and throw them around with ease. Dae-Su is also seen holding barriers that would take at least two people to hold. In many respects, the group as a whole would not have made it far without him.

That being said, he doesn't actually fight most of the time and isn't willing to use his strength to kill zombies, content to knock them down and run away. Still, his human strength is unmatched in the group.

Lee Cheong-San

Lee Cheong-San holding guitar

Lee Cheong-San is no formal martial artist, but he's still an impressive fighter all things considered. He is very scrappy, throwing himself into the fray and being able to dodge zombie grabs left and right. He's quick to find weapons and alongside Su-Hyeok, often fights off hordes with only chairs and sticks.

However, he has no real formal training as a fighter. When he goes up against actual fighters such as Gwi-Nam or Su-Hyeok, he finds himself flat on the ground. Considering those two are some of the best fighters in the series, however, it puts into perspective how capable Cheong-San is in this horror movie situation.

Song Jae-Il

Song Jae-Il Interrogating

As a police officer, Song Jae-Il has undergone basic combat training and shows a lot of experience dealing with the chaos around him. He keeps a cool head and while we don't see him directly fighting zombies, for the most part, he's very smart about it when we do.

He's very capable of holding his own and can protect his entire party (with the help of a friend) all the way to the quarantine camp. His fighting ability is seen through the fact that he picks his battles. A surefire way to survive is to pick battles that you know you'll win, something a lot of other characters don't understand.

Lee Su-Hyeok

Lee Su-Hyeok Looking Worried

Lee Su-Hyeok is the most tenacious member of the group, and he has the martial arts skills to prove it.  Out of everybody in the group, he is the most skilled in close-quarters combat. He tackles zombies off windows, throws them into lockers, and even knows how to sweep kick some to give himself some space.

Su-Hyeok even holds his own against a super-powered Gwi-Nam. That lets us know that if he had enhanced strength, Su-Hyeok would totally wipe the floor with Gwi-Nam's mop haircut. His legitimate martial arts and tenacity make him one of the most capable fighters in the group.

Jang Ha-Ri

Jang Ha-Ri Between Doorframe

Jang Ha-Ri, despite being introduced as an archer who didn't even make it out of the preliminaries, turns out to be the students' most valuable zombie killer. Her archery skills have arguably saved more students than any other character combined.

Not to mention, she keeps a cool head throughout the entire situation, never letting herself panic or be caught unawares. This combat awareness paired with her impeccable archery skills makes Ha-Ri one of the most deadly students in the entire school.

Nam So-Ju

Nam So-Ju Holding On-Jo

Nam So-Ju is quick on his feet and his mind, two very important qualities for a first responder to have. So-Ju is capable of disabling most grown zombies through CQC and is very rarely taken by surprise. Not to mention, he was able to surprise and defeat three trained soldiers, and avoid an entire squad of them.

His experience and skills make him one of, if not the best, lone survivalists in the entire series. Lastly, his determination to reach Hyosan High despite having a bullet wound shows the depths of his tenacity. Sadly, So-Ju doesn't get his happily ever after, sacrificing himself to save his daughter.

Choi Nam-Ra

Cho Yi-Hyun as Choi Nam-Ra in All of Us Are Dead

Nam-Ra wasn't exactly frail before, but she wasn't a combatant in the first few episodes. She was certainly a quick thinker and brave girl, but she was always protected by Su-Hyeok. However, when Gwi-Nam bit her, she changed drastically.  Her enhanced strength allows her to effortlessly snap the necks of zombies and throw them hard enough to break bones.

Nam-Ra was an essential part of how they survived the final battle in the last episode, acting as the powerhouse when Dae-Su is injured. If she had known the extent of her skills, she could have probably helped the group a lot more while they were in school.

Yoon Gwi-Nam

Yoon Gwi-Nam Bloody

The most dangerous student in the school, without question. We already see his ruthlessness and martial skill when fighting against zombies before he was infected. Oftentimes, he also had the upper hand on Cheong-san during their chase. His infection, however, only made his ruthlessness that much more pronounced. Unlike Nam-Ra, he has no restraints with the use of his power.

He tosses around the more technically skilled Su-Hyeok like a ragdoll, and it takes the efforts of all the students to incapacitate him. It takes Cheong-San tackling him down a shaft as they are set aflame by the missiles to finally put him down. Gwi-Nam's presence alone is a thriller experience for both the viewers and the characters.
