God of War: Ragnarok is full of collectibles and secrets. One of these collectibles is a series of nine flowers found across the nine realms. Players can earn The Florist trophy by collecting all nine flowers, but players may wish to complete the game beforehand. Fast travel isn't unlocked until players beat the game and get the Yggdrasil Seed. Once unlocked, players can access Mystic Gates and head straight for the flowers.

Considering how long God of War: Ragnarok is, it will take a while for players to get all nine flowers. A helpful reminder is that there is only one flower in each realm, with Niflheim being the exception. There is the Sparkthorn of Svartalfheim, the Mirkweed of Midgard, the Ironbell of Jötunheim, the Soulblossom of Helheim, the Dawnbloom of Alfheim, the Dreamshade and Frostfinger of Niflheim, the Starblush of Vanaheim, and the Ashpetal of Muspelheim.

The Nine Flower Locations in God of War: Ragnarök

God of War Ragnarok Kratos Flower Helheim
  • Sparkthorn: found in Nidavellir. Players need the Draupnir Spear to knock down a wooden pillar near the tavern. The spear will help them cross a gap and reach a house where the flower rests.
  • Mirkweed: when players aren't collecting Midgard's Nornir Chests, they can stop by Freya's house and grab the flower next to the tortoise statue.
  • Ironbell: journey south of the Mystic Gate at Angrboda’s Treehouse, and the flower will be at the end of the left path.
  • Soulblossom: after fighting Garm at Hel's Perch for the second time, throw the Draupnir Spear at a stone pillar so Kratos can jump across a large gap. The flower is next to a corpse.
  • Dawnbloom: The flower is to the left of a grapple point in the western portion of the Forbidden Sands.
  • Frostfinger: close to the Mystic Gate of Mist Fields, there is a field of statues and swords. The flower is among them.
  • Ashpetal: located next to Brok's Shop in the Crucible of Muspelheim. Players must find the two halves of GoW: Ragnarok's Muspelheim seed to unlock this area.
  • Starblush: south of the Mystic Gate in The Sinkholes. After completing Favor: Return of a River, follow the path along the water's edge to the flower.
  • Dreamshade: once players have completed the game, a path will become available to the Aesir Prison Wreckage. Search the cells on the bottom floor for the flower.

Considering God of War: Ragnarok is a game about a large, muscular man fighting gods; interestingly, one of the trophies involves picking flowers. There's a lot to do in the nine realms, and these collectibles can send players off the beaten path, giving them a chance to explore and show off the best armor in GoW: Ragnarok if they've found it. The nine flowers of the nine realms are an excellent challenge for God of War: Ragnarok players who adore collectibles and secrets.
