Joshua Bam Brown of the Alaskan Bush People always seemed like a stand-up guy, but some of his scandals have fans thinking there may be a darker side to him. Bam has always been known to "respect the danger" and has tried to keep his family in line. That is why fans are shocked that he has more than one scandal from his past.

The Alaskan Bush People star is the second-oldest brother of seven siblings. The family shot to fame due to the popularity of their show on the Discovery Channel, which follows them around the wilderness of Alaska. The Brown family has been living in the bush their entire lives thanks to their parents, Billy and Ami Brown, who wanted to pursue a life that was off the grid. The family now resides on top of a mountain in Washington state. The Wolf Pack has come up against some issues from time to time, but Bam, for the most part, has stayed out of trouble. However, he has been involved in a scandal or two over the years.

Recently Bam was in the news for a tragic and fatal car accident, which he was not at fault, according to The Sun. A Washington state trooper told the outlet that Bam, who is 37-years-old, was involved in a motor accident on May 20 where a 24-year-old victim died on site. Bam's GMC was on the SR 97 freeway when a black Camaro collided with him head-on. According to the police, the Alaskan Bush People star swerved to avoid the oncoming car and ended up in a ditch.

However, the car accident wasn't the first time Bam was entangled in a scandal. Bam's first major scandal happened in 2014 when his parents, Billy and Ami, Bam, and his siblings were charged with trying to defraud the U.S. government. The family was charged a total of 60 counts of first-degree unsworn falsification and first-and-second-degree theft. From 2011 to 2013, the Browns had reportedly lied to the government to get the annual oil revenue checks that are given to residents of Alaska. Bam and his father ended up spending 30 days behind bars and having to perform 40 hours of community service.

For the most part, the Alaskan Bush People star has maintained a squeaky clean image. Since he was young, Bam has steered clear of the family drama. It didn't help that his parents were not welcoming to his girlfriend, Allison Kagan. She had worked on the show when they met, and the Brown family became very cold to her. Now, Bam is happily keeping to himself as he builds a life with Allison, hopefully, away from any scandal.
