Stars of Discovery Channel's Alaskan Bush PeopleBear Brown and Raven Adams, are expecting their first baby together. The parents-to-be revealed that they are expecting a baby boy.

Alaskan Bush People is a reality documentary series that follows around Bear's family - the Brown's - who are unlike any other family in America. Bear's mother, Ami and his father Billy, and his six brothers and sisters have completely removed themselves from civilization. The family often go six to nine months each year completely isolated without seeing another outsider. Due to their way of life and isolation in the wild, the self-described "wolf pack" have their own accent and dialect. Currently, the Brown family has created their own self-contained village in Washington which has been the patriarch's dream for over fifty years. Now, there's the exciting news that the clan will be welcoming a Bear cub next spring.

Back in mid-September, Bear and Raiven revealed that they had split after being engaged for two weeks. Then, one day after the split, Raiven found out she was pregnant. The pair separated for a few weeks and then decided that they wanted to give their love one more shot. 31-year-old Bear told People the new that he's going to be a father, he said, "Raiven and I are excited to share we’re expecting a baby this spring!" At the time of the reveal, the pair had split and he said they were still "dedicated to raising a healthy and happy child." Now that the couple is back together and are planning to bring their baby into a happy and healthy home environment, 21-year-old Raiven said, "Bear and I are learning new things every day and are in this together." She added, "Baby Brown is our number one priority."

It seems like the couple is doing their best to make it work as a family with their baby due in April 2020. Bear said, "Raiven will be an amazing mom and I will work my hardest to be the best dad I can be!" He continued, "Family is everything to me, and we appreciate everyone’s support as we figure out our new normal." The soon-to-be father also revealed that they are expecting a baby boy, saying, "It’s a boy! I can’t believe it! I would’ve been thrilled no matter what but it’s awesome we’re having a boy!" He said, "It’s crazy to think this time next year, I’ll be a dad." Since this is their first child, the pregnancy is all very new to them. Raiven said, "Pregnancy isn’t easy but I’m focused on staying relaxed and excited. I know it will go by in a flash."

It seems that this couple has been working things out between themselves before the baby arrives. It's unclear if Bear and Raiven will be living in the village with the rest of his family in Washington or if they will be their own family unit, but one thing is for sure, the new baby will be learning all of the outdoor living skills as he grows up as the next generation of the Brown family.
