There have been very few details about who will feature in the Ahsoka Disney+ show when it airs later this year, but it’s not far of a reach to assume some favorite Jedi will be appearing. There are a ton of rumors circling, but nothing official, except for a one-second clip of Ahsoka in an advertisement for upcoming shows in 2023 for Disney+. Having other Jedi besides Ahsoka in the show will hopefully help bring to light what Ahsoka was up to after the fall of the Empire.

It seems like the Ahsoka show will feature Ahsoka and Sabine Wren going to find Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, two characters from Star Wars Rebels, who will be making their live-action debut. There have been rumors about Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, but it’s unclear in what form he’ll be seen. But there are other Jedi who could appear in the show, which would help bring Ahsoka’s story full circle.

9 Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka

While it may be a little obvious that Ahsoka will appear in her own show, her appearing as a Jedi isn't as straightforward, because in some respects, Ahsoka isn’t considered a true Jedi. She walked away from the Jedi order in Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 5. She even stated she wasn’t a Jedi when Ahsoka fought her former master Darth Vader on Malachor in the Rebels season 2 finale. However, Ahsoka has proved again and again her faith in the force has not been waived, even if her faith in the Jedi Order did.

For a show that is supposed to surround Ahsoka, hopefully, she’s shown throughout her life and not just during the main timeline of the show, meaning the Jedi Ahsoka can still be explored further before she leaves the order. There have been rumors that a younger Ahsoka has been cast, but nothing official has been confirmed. It would be wonderful to see Ahsoka fighting in a live-action battle during the Clone Wars. So while Rosario Dawson’s performance is much anticipated since her appearances as Ahsoka in The Mandalorian season 2, and The Book of Boba Fett, it would be interesting to see a younger Ahsoka navigating the galaxy.

8 Ezra Bridger

Ezra Bridger uses the force on Thrawn

The padawan to Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger was a vital part of the rebel victory on Lothal in Rebels season 4. Ezra sacrificed himself to save his family by disappearing with Grand Admiral Thrawn when they were taken into hyperspace by purrgil. Ezra seems to be the only other Jedi confirmed to appear in the show, with Eman Esfandi being cast. It’s unclear what shape Ahsoka and Sabine will find him in and how long it had been since they had seen Ezra, but he may have continued with his Jedi training on his own.

After the death of Kanan Jarrus in Rebels season 4, it wasn’t totally clear how Ezra would become a true Jedi Knight, since it took his master over fifteen years because of Order 66 - so fleshing out this aftermath further would make sense. It would also be great to see Ezra reunite with Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Chopper, three of the members of the Ghost crew. It’s unclear if the final member of the Ghost crew, Zeb Orrelios, will be making an appearance, as the epilogue of Rebels showed Zeb bringing Alexsandr Kallus to Lira San so that he could be welcomed by the Lasat.

7 Anakin Skywalker

Hayden Christensen As Anakin Skywalker In Revenge Of The Sith.

Just like in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series, audiences are hoping to see a live-action version of The Clone Wars. While Obi-Wan Kenobi featured a pre-Clone Wars scene between Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker, many were expecting more. The Ahsoka show can fulfill that call from fans and feature moments between Ahsoka and her master. Hayden Christensen has been tight-lipped about whether or not he’d be in Ahsoka, and about how he’d appear if he was.

There are a couple of different ways that Anakin can show up in the Ahsoka show. As previously mentioned, there can be a Clone Wars-era flashback, but he could also appear as Darth Vader, whom Ahsoka did fight in Rebels season 2. Additionally, since the show will probably take place after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Anakin can appear in his human form to Ahsoka as a force ghost. Since the force ghost version of Anakin has since been changed to look like Hayden Christensen, it’s plausible that he could show up in that way.

6 Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker watching Grogu in Book of Boba Fett

Because Ahsoka has been seen at Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Academy, it’s possible the younger Skywalker could make an appearance in the show. While it probably won’t be a large role, Mark Hamill may make another cameo as Luke Skywalker. In The Book of Boba Fett episode that featured both Ahsoka and Luke, Ahsoka mentioned that she was leaving and Luke asked if he would ever see her again. Ahsoka may return to Luke in order to allow Ezra to complete his Jedi training or to deliver another force-sensitive child to train.

5 Obi-Wan Kenobi

Obi-Wan Kenobi Ewan McGregor Relaxed

Along with a Clone Wars flashback featuring Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was a friend and teacher, may appear. It would be amazing for Ewan McGregor to appear again as Obi-Wan, especially after his performance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ show. Also, like Anakin, Obi-Wan has the potential to appear in the series as a force ghost. While previously Obi-Wan’s force ghost had been played by the late Sir Alec Guinness, the Force could manipulate Obi-Wan Kenobi’s appearance to look more like he did when Ahsoka knew him, which would be as the Ewan McGregor version.

4 Grogu

Because Ahsoka had met Din Djarinn and Grogu in The Mandalorian season 2, and again in The Book of Boba Fett, the pair can appear again in Ahsoka. It would be interesting to see how these two characters would meet up with Ahsoka, Sabine, and potentially Ezra, but it may be cool for both Ezra and Grogu to meet and become acquainted with other Jedi. It’s unlikely that Grogu would play a major role in the Ahsoka show, but a brief cameo would still be fun nonetheless.

3 Plo Koon

Plo Koon in Star Wars The Clone Wars

While Jedi Master Plo Koon wasn’t taught how to create his force ghost like other Jedi like Qui-Gon Jinn or Obi-Wan Kenobi, he was the Jedi who originally brought Ahsoka to the Jedi Temple as a youngling. He always seemed to have a special place in his heart for “Little ‘Soka” so seeing him again in a live-action flashback would add further poignancy to his role in her life. It would also certainly remind Ahsoka of happier times, perhaps helping add to her overall arc in the show by encouraging further self-reflection as to how far she's come since then.

2 Yoda

Yoda in the swamp in Dagobah in The Empire Strikes Back

Yoda’s Force Ghost has mainly appeared to Luke Skywalker, but it’s possible he could manifest again. While Yoda hadn’t yet died in Star Wars Rebels, the Jedi Master’s voice guided a young Ezra through his time in the Jedi temple on Lothal. If for nothing else, Yoda could appear to give Ahsoka and/or Ezra some much-needed guidance.

1 Barriss Offee

Barriss Offee betrays the Jedi and battles Anakin Skywalker

It’s not really known what happened to Barriss Offee after betraying Ahsoka in her final appearance in The Clone Wars season 5, but her return could mean a resolution to one of Ahsoka’s biggest storylines. Barriss had bombed the Jedi temple and murdered multiple people because she no longer understood the motivations of the Jedi order, and she framed Ahsoka for the crime. If Barriss were to return, Ahsoka may choose to forgive her former friend, and they may align to get out of a sticky situation. However, if Barriss makes her live-action debut, Barriss’ betrayal needs to be addressed.

While there’s not a lot known about the upcoming Ahsoka show, there’s still plenty to be excited for. The show should be an interesting look at a beloved character who will finally get to shine in live-action. No matter how many (if any) Jedi appear, Ahsoka and her two white lightsaber blades will still be there. Hopefully, any Jedi appearances in the Ahsoka Disney+ show will be meaningful and push forward the plot and not distract from the overall show.
