Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4: Ghost Rider Revealed

There has been building excitement for the debut of Ghost Rider on season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The marketing team has continued to tease his arrival by providing glimpses of his car on fire in promos and our first look at Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes. The show is using Robbie instead of the more recognizable versions to help the character fit within the direction of the show, but they have not yet revealed when we will see Robbie dawn his fiery skull.

With the limits of a television budget, how often the show can afford to use Ghost Rider's fiery form will have to be answered throughout season 4. However, fans can finally see what Robbie Reyes will look like when he embraces his Ghost Rider alter-ego.

Yahoo has exclusively revealed the first look at Ghost Rider, flaming skull and all. Right after the announcement was made that Ghost Rider would be heading to season 4, a small teaser was released showing concept of the skull on fire. It looks like the show is using that as the template to base his finalized full look upon. Without further ado, here is the full fiery form of Ghost Rider:

Now that the official look of Ghost Rider has been revealed prior to the season beginning, it seems as though viewers should get a chance to see this form during the season premiere after all. This should be good news after viewers had to wait all of last season to the true form of the villainous Inhuman Hive. Still, it remains to be seen how often this version of Ghost Rider is actually shown throughout Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4.

The show will be moving back an hour to allow for a darker tone to take over, and that seems like a necessity with Ghost Rider being involved. There has not yet been any indications as to how he gets involved with the story, but expect him to have a large role. Bringing in Ghost Rider should be an effective way to generate more interest in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4. If new viewers do tune in, it will be up to the story to deliver a Ghost Rider people are eager to see more from and not disappoint.
