Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hurtles toward the final stretch of season 5 with a new trailer for "The One Who Will Save Us All." Time is ticking away for S.H.I.E.L.D. to save Earth from being cracked into pieces at the hands of HYRDA and other evil forces. Things only got more complicated in last week's episode, "Option Two", which revealed Talbot as the Destroyer of Worlds, after he fused with most of the Lighthouse's remaining Gravitonium. Now that it's known that Talbot is the Destroyer of Worlds, perhaps he's the only one powerful enough to stop the coming invasion. He obliterated Qovas' remaining forces at the end of "Option Two", but that was only one step toward preventing the total destruction of the planet. Now, he and Coulson have escaped the Lighthouse, and as revealed in the trailer for next week's episode, "The One Who Will Save Us All", the pair are confronting Qovas directly on his ship.Related- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Theory: Deke Is Key To Changing The TimelineYou can watch the new trailer for "The One Who Will Save Us All" in the section above. A brief synopsis for the third-to-last episode of season 5 describes a "newly determined" Talbot, who, along with Coulson, makes a daring confrontation with Qovas aboard the duplicitous Confederacy leader's ship. Talbot also appears to take another step toward utilizing his full powers as Graviton, the ultra-powerful Marvel villain who deems himself "Earth's last hope" and the planet's "true protector".Furthermore, Talbot unleashes his power on someone within Qovas' ranks - maybe even Qovas himself - when he crumbles an alien to death with his mind. It's not long before he forces others to kneel before him at the end of the promo (perhaps a not-so-subtle reference to DC's General Zod?), including what appears to be a demand toward Coulson himself.S.H.I.E.L.D. needs to save Earth, first and foremost, but even if they do, they may not be able to save Coulson. The S.H.I.E.L.D. leader has already died and come back to life in a key part of the timeline, and it remains a possibility that his sacrifice may be unavoidable - perhaps necessary - to prevent the future apocalyptic events revealed earlier in the season.
