In the penultimate episode of Agents of SHIELD, Kora (Dianna Doan) offered a list of 30 people in the MCU whose deaths would help make the world a better place, but she doesn’t reveal all of their identities. The only character on the list who Kora mentions by name is Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), a member of the original SHIELD team from season 1 and one of the show’s biggest villains ever.

In Agents of SHIELD season 7, episode 11, “Brand New Day”, Daisy (Chloe Bennet) came face-to-face with her sister Kora, who she never even knew existed prior to season 7. After being captured by Coulson (Clark Gregg) in the previous episode, Kora surprised the team by expressing her interest in becoming a SHIELD agent, though no one truly believed she was sincere. Kora told them that the leader of their group, Nathaniel Malick (Thomas E. Sullivan), has used their newfound knowledge of the future to prepare a list of 30 names. According to Kora, these are all people who SHIELD should eliminate in an effort save “thousands of lives”. Of course, Mack (Henry Simmons) refused, claiming that they’re not a “death squad”.

Other than Grant Ward, Kora doesn’t reveal who she and Nathaniel have in mind, but it’s likely that a good number of them are familiar faces in the MCU, considering how many established characters in both Agents of SHIELD and past Marvel movies have brought a lot of harm to the world. Since the team is still in the year 1983, many of these people aren’t old enough to pose a threat, but the idea behind their plan is to kill them preemptively - similar to Project Insight.

Among those who may be on the list are key Agents of SHIELD villains who caused a great deal of trouble for the SHIELD team in the show’s early seasons, like Raina (Ruth Negga) and Ian Quinn (David Conrad). Quinn was responsible for all the problems they had with Gravitonium, and much more. Other characters who may be targeted include Daniel Whitehall (Reed Diamond), Hydra scientist Dr. List (Henry Goodman), Watchdog leader Anton Ivanov (Zach McGowan). Nathaniel and Kora wanting to kill Ivanov would certainly make sense, considering that his goal was killing Inhumans.

Characters outside of Agents of SHIELD that could be candidates for assassination are Captain America: Civil War’s Zemo (Daniel Brühl), who caused much unrest by murdering the Wakandan king. There’s also Iron Man villain Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges), who provided terrorists with weapons, Baron von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) from Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Robert Redford’s Alexander Pierce (the mastermind of Project Insight in Captain America: The Winter Soldier). Killing some of these characters would indeed accomplish the goals laid out by Kora, but as pointed out by Coulson, Nathaniel’s plan is just the reverse of what the Chronicoms intended to do earlier in Agents of SHIELD season 7 when they wanted to move up Project Insight to the 1970s and kill off heroic characters like Bruce Banner.
