Fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. received some unexpected news not long ago with the inclusion of the latest addition to the cast. For a show that has focused heavily on Inhumans over the past two seasons, in season 4 the focus will turn slightly towards the darker dimensions of the MCU. The revelation that Ghost Rider would be joining the show came as a surprise, but there was also the surprise that Marvel has chosen to use a lesser known version of the character with Robbie Reyes.

With Gabriel Luna now cast in the role and his car revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, it was only a matter of time before we started to see glimpses of how the character would be included. As the cast and crew continue to film season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., they recently took the action to the streets and have given us a glimpse of Ghost Rider's skills behind the wheel.

In the new videos from the set, Quake (Chloe Bennet) can be seen riding on top of Ghost Rider's car at very high speeds. Due to the quality of the videos themselves, it is unclear if Luna is actually the one behind the wheel or if it is a professional driver, which is the more likely scenario.

By the look of things, it appears that Daisy and Ghost Rider will cross paths very early on in the season, something that has been widely speculated would be the case. As for what possesses (no pun intended) Daisy to leap on the top of the car, that shall remain a mystery for now, but with her newfound desire to help those in need, it may be as simple as doing all she can to convince Robbie to accept her offer. No matter the reasoning, it appears that Robbie has little to no interest in having Daisy nearby.

We have yet to see how exactly Ghost Rider will look in live action on the small screen, but that should be right around the corner. The only thing we can hope for is that his flaming skull will be shown more than other VFX heavy Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. characters in the past. As we wait for a real look at the character's design, questions still remain as to whether he will be a friend to S.H.I.E.L.D. or not. It seems unlikely that the show would use him as an antagonist, but then again, who would have thought Ghost Rider would be featured at all.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 premieres Tuesday, September 20 @10pm on ABC.
