Agents of Shield has recently been confirmed to have a bit of an Agent Carter crossover, as Daniel Souser will be making an MCU appearance once more in the upcoming season.

Due to the show including more time travel, there's plenty of other characters that could be brought back. Here's a list of 10 Marvel Cinematic Universe characters that could be brought in to the final season of the show.

Daredevil

Daredevil in the MCU

The man without fear is finally leaving Netflix after the rights have run out to use the character. With rumors of the lawyer teaming up with the web-head, there are other ways to bring him back into the mix first.

The Agents running into a young Matt Murdoch, who gets caught on this wild adventure, could be a fun way to crossover, defying expectations and teasing his future.

The Runaways

The Runaways are not so much on the run anymore, as they are starting to get back to their old lives. There was a period of time where they were just living on the streets though.

With time travel being able to take the Agents back to this time period, they could investigate the strange reports related to a bunch of teenagers, before coming across this group of misfits.

Blackout

Blackout has had a couple of appearances in the MCU. First in Agents of Shield and then working in a bar where he came across Carol Danvers. Since this history has been retconned for the character there are other ways to still include him.

It would be fun to see the Agents go to the 90s and come across the Coulson we've seen from this time period. What's more, Blackout could serve as some kind of threat, before he has his powers.

Cloak And Dagger

Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson on Cloak & Dagger

Another set of teenage heroes, these two compliment each other in their skills and gifts and are now on the road, moving away from New Orleans. It may be possible they come into play through the shadow dimension.

Both the Agents and Cloak and Dagger have dealt with this dimension so it makes sense that this is the way in which they crossover. Their histories are linked in many ways.

Doc Samson

Doc Samson hasn't been around in the MCU for quite some time, but he is an easy character to add into the universe once again. He doesn't even have to develop the green hair and powers.

Perhaps meeting him during his early days of training and having him be the new psychologist for the Agents as they travel across time, would be an organic way to include him.

Christine Everhart

Leslie Bibb as Christine Everhart

Christine has a special place in the MCU in that she way really there for the genesis of it. The character has come a long way, but back in 2008 she was at the height of her reporting career.

Having Everhart return in various reports in order to keep the team up to date would be a fun connecting point. She never has to meet them but simply having her appear on TV.

Blackbolt

Blackbolt the leader of the Inhumans is now stuck on Earth with no means to his home of Attilan. While the show he starred in absolutely bombed, there's a chance to save these characters.

Blackbolt could be brought into this show, since the Inhumans originated as part of a Shield mission. This might be a chance to redeem these characters!

Agent Sitwell

Sitwell is now dead, but he has already been brought back with time travel in the MCU. Why not bring him back in this show too, especially since he's appeared in it in the past.

He's been a vital member of the team and one of the most influential people to turn during the Hydra takeover. It would be an interesting dynamic for him to work alongside the team.

Lady Sif

Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif in Thor

Lady Sif is somewhere off in the galaxy right now. She's been alive for thousands of years though so her joining an adventure, as she has done previously, wouldn't answer the question of where she is now.

It's a win-win therefore, as fans would love to see Sif in action once more, but it also doesn't affect any future storytelling choices that Marvel studios may want to make. It could be that the next time we see her it's alongside Thor!

President Ellis

President Ellis was the leader of the country for some time, but we don't know how he won his election. In fact, we don't know too much about the president, but he has resurfaced a number of times.

Taking the agents back to a time period where he had started fighting the election and perhaps even when there was some kind of conspiracy to make him lose, would be a great way to tie it all together and continue to work on the continuity of the MCU.
