A new Wolverine cosplay debuted on AEW has been noticed by one of the comic creators who has written the Marvel Comics character. Thunder Rosa has brought a Laura Kinney-inspired suit to the ring and it is absolutely stunning. The look presents the classic bright blue and yellow uniforms of the X-Men in a gorgeous tribute.

Fans love cosplaying as their favorite characters and this year has had some incredible cosplays. However, the year hadn't yet ended when another stunning look was debuted. While Laura Kinney isn't as popular as her father, the original Wolverine, she has gained her own dedicated following. Her fierceness and power are incredible, so it's no wonder that other strong and beautiful women would want to take a stab at portraying her.

On Wednesday, December 29, Thunder Rosa debuted a suit inspired by Laura Kinney, formerly known as X-32. Laura is known as Wolverine, a mantle she shares with her father, Logan. The cosplay takes elements of Laura's blue and yellow X-Men suit, which is very reminiscent of her father's old uniform. This cosplay includes dual-clawed gloves and in place of the usual X-Men logos are roses and Thunder Rosa's initials. It is a beautiful riff on the character. In fact, it is such a good representation that Tom Taylor, a comic writer, approved of it on Twitter.

Tom Taylor has written numerous comics for a variety of publishers including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Boom! Studios, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, and others. While the writer may currently be most associated with DC's ongoing title, Nightwing, he also spent a good deal of time writing All-New Wolverine. The series ran from 2015 to 2018 and spanned thirty-five issues. The series also had a slew of incredible artists, inkers, and letterers, including: Jesus Aburtov, Erick Arciniega, Jordan Boyd, Juan Cabal, Marc Deering, Marco Failla, Nathan Fairbairn, Michael Garland, Ig Guara, Cory Hamscher, Scott Hanna, Leonard Kirk, Mat Lopes, David López, Djibril Morissette-Phan, David Navarrot, Victor Olazaba, Terry Pallot, Cory Petit, John Rauch, Ramón Rosanas, Joe Sabino, Chris Sotomayor, Marcio Takara, Nik Virella, Bob Wiacek, Walden Wong, and Nolan Woodard.

All-New Wolverine starred Laura Kinney and was responsible for giving her the official Wolverine title. Previously, she was known as X-23, a name given to her in her early comic history. This Wolverine was created by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost and had her first appearance in NYX #3 in 2003. Laura was experimented on in an attempt to replicate what had been done with the Weapon X project, which was responsible for turning Logan into Wolverine. X-23 was a name given to her as a specimen, a weapon. She has shredded this part of her identity, choosing - and being given blessings - to go by Wolverine officially. All-New Wolverine was a series that is a core part of defining who Laura is. To have even one member of the creative team approve of a gorgeous cosplay like Thunder Rosa's is a major accomplishment. Laura Kinney has become an official Wolverine - and has long been a fan-favorite Marvel Comics heroine - for a reason and it is wonderful to see AEW stars like Thunder Rosa embracing her as well.
