During a recent AEW FanFest event, TNT Champion Scorpio Sky had some strong words for both the audience in attendance and ex-WWE wrestlers in the back. Few wrestlers have won as much as the former member of SCU has lately, as he's triumphed in 11 of the last 12 matches he's been involved with. That one loss came to Sami Guevara at the Battle Of The Belts II on April 15th, but he turned around and got that win—and the TNT title—back 12 days later following a fantastic ladder match on Wednesday Night Dynamite.

Sky's former tag-team partner, Frankie Kazarian, helped Guevara destroy the original TNT belt, which led to AEW unveiling a new purple version of the title. He's been involved with The Men Of The Year as of late, and he, along with Paige VanZant and Ethan Page defeated Guevara, Kazarian, and Tay Conti at Double Or Nothing. As a result of that victory, neither Guevara nor Kazarian are allowed to challenge Sky for the TNT Championship again.

Ahead of that bout at Double Or Nothing, Sky spoke to an audience for a live taping of AEW Unrestricted and had some pointed words about several subjects. In particular, he took aim at ex-WWE wrestlers in the back, stating that they didn't want to wrestle him for fear of looking bad. Or, as he put it, no one wants to face him because he's not  “a star-caliber guy who used to work for Vince McMahon.” He continued, stating that "there isn't a person in AEW who can outwork me."

Sky would go on to back up those words, winning his mixed trios match. What's up next for the TNT Champion remains to be seen, as there's no clear-cut program for him to enter. The feuds with both Guevara and Kazarian should be done, and it'll be interesting to see how AEW handles Sky and his title in the coming weeks. AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door is just a few weeks away, and that card will likely get crowded in a hurry.

Of course, Double Or Nothing was quite lengthy in its own right, so perhaps there won't be too much concern given to how long Forbidden Door is. If the TNT Championship makes the cut for a one-on-one bout, however, that could mean that just about every title between the two companies would make an appearance. That may be a bit too much of a good thing as the two companies work to put on their first co-branded pay-per-view together. A more likely outcome is that Sky ends up featured heavily on the rumored ROH pay-per-view that ought to happen sometime in mid-July.
