A recent interaction on Twitter had some AEW fans wondering if Miro could be eyeballing a return to WWE now that Triple H is in charge. While there's no denying that the King of Kings has shaken up the ongoing wrestling wars by taking the book from Vince McMahon, that also doesn't magically neutralize contracts Tony Khan has with All Elite's wrestlers. Likewise, that doesn't mean all performers who formally worked for that company flock back in droves.

When he first debuted in AEW, Miro was one of the top free agents available. There was always the feeling that he was capable of more while with The Other Company, and he seemed set to capitalize on his natural gifts and charisma. The Twitch streamer gimmick he debuted with didn't exactly click, though, and he's been searching for a consistent place on the card since re-debuting in June. At the time, Miro spoke about how tough it was to find a spot due to how deep AEW's roster is, and two months later, those comments seem prophetic.

The former TNT Champion spoke on the Sessions With Renee Paquette podcast and explained why he still prefers AEW to WWE despite the lack of airtime. "It's different, just listening to... all these [WWE] guys. Just knowing [they're] four or five days on the road, it's too much. I don't want to do that, especially right now, knowing that, eventually, I want to do something else. I want to work towards that." Miro also spoke about what a difference only working once per week makes. "I feel my body is getting better and better; it's not hurting. Especially now with working and just having a match once a week. Your body can go so much longer."

Miro's Involvement With House Of Black Is Interesting

Miro has only wrestled twice since his June 1 re-debut against Johnny Elite, so his body has had plenty of time to rest. He tapped out Ethan Page on the June 15 episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. He was then on the losing end of the fatal four-way that determined the inaugural All-Atlantic Championship holder at Forbidden Door. That pay-per-view took place on June 26, and Miro hasn't wrestled since.

At this juncture, fans wonder whether he'll join forces with the Malakai Black-lead faction. His involvement with the House of Black indicates that AEW at least has creative plans for the former Rusev. With the trios titles tournament on the horizon, perhaps Miro could join up with Black and Brody King to create a formidable group for AEW to present as a real threat as the tourney progresses.
