When will the final two episodes of Adventure Time: Distant Lands arrive? Adventure Time debuted on Cartoon Network in 2010 and followed the surreal misadventures of a boy named Finn and his talking, shapeshifter dog Jake in the Land Of Ooo. Ooo itself is filled with all kinds of strange characters and monsters, including Finn and Jake's clashes with the show's main villain The Ice King.

Adventure Time received acclaim throughout its ten season run, with the show finishing its run in 2018. The series became increasingly dense with backstory in its later seasons, with the finale "Come Along With Me" providing all of the fan-favorite Adventure Time characters with fitting endings. The show's success also spawned video games, toys and comics, though a potential Adventure Time animated movie didn't come to pass.

Fans of the series didn't have to wait long for a revival, with Adventure Time: Distant Lands being announced in 2019. Distant Lands is a series of four HBO Max specials, with the first episode "BMO" following the adorable living computer as he saves the inhabitants of a dying space station. "BMO" aired in June 2020, while the next episode "Obsidian" arrived in November. This picked up with Marceline the Vampire Queen and Princess Bubblegum having to save the Glass Kingdom from a dragon.

Both episodes of Adventure Time: Distant Lands to date have met with great reviews, though at present there's still no confirmation on when episode 3 "Wizard City" or episode 4 "Together Again" will arrive on HBO Max. "Wizard City" will pick up with Peppermint Butler as he enrolls in Magic School, while "Together Again" will revolve around Finn and Jake re-teaming to take on a new mystery; an older Finn also made a surprise cameo in "Obsidian."

Following the first episode of Adventure Time: Distant Lands it took around five months for "Obsidian" to arrive. Assuming "Wizard City" is operating under a similiar schdule, it might arrive in April or May 2021 - though this is far from guaranteed. "Together" again will likely arrive towards the end of 2021, and fans will no doubt be excited to see the reunion of Jake and Finn. There was little info available about when "Obsidian" was going to air in the months following the first episode, so it might some time before a "Wizard City" airdate is confirmed. It will be interesting to see if there's life to the series beyond Adventure Time: Distant Lands too, as the show lends itself well to an anthology format.
