Snapchat has a unique feature not offered by most other social media apps the ability to create an astrological profile. The company launched the feature in Nov. 2020 as a way for users to share their horoscopes with their friends on the app. Creating an astrological profile on Snapchat is relatively easy, but there are a few things to consider before getting started.

The astrological profiles on Snapchat cover ten cosmic bodies, including the sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Uranus. It comes with many features, including a 'Friendship Compatibility Story' that claims to measure a user's astrological compatibility with a friend. In addition, it contains a series of Snaps that cover five aspects, including attraction, intensity, tension, support and harmony.

Once the astrological profile is created, users can read a more detailed analysis about them by tapping on the 'Read More' button. They can also share their astrological information with others by hitting the 'Share' icon in the bottom-left corner of the astrological profile screen. Do note that once an astrological profile is created, it will remain a part of that account unless manually deactivated. This means users can access their astrological information any time by simply opening their profile page as described earlier and then tapping on their zodiac sign under their name on the next page.

Users who are uncomfortable with entering any of that information into the app should not proceed any further. Snap says it doesn't share that information with anyone by default and also offers a way to delete all that information from the app. To do that, go over to the profile page and tap on the 'Settings' button (gear icon) at the top-right corner. Next, under 'My Account,' tap on 'Birthday,' and then hit the 'X' symbol next to 'My Astrological Birthday.'  Confirm the action to delete all the birthday-related information from Snapchat.
